Please note Condition 1 of the licence conditions re the three year completion time
You are reminded that upon completion of the works it is necessary for you to forward to this office
(a) a copy of the Form A (Particulars of completed work - issued to you by the driller) for each work constructed
(b) a copy of a plan of the property confirming the work sites
(c) copies of any water quality information collected

(4) IF DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE WORK SALINE OR POLLUTED WATER IS ENCOUNTERED ABOVE THE PRODUCING AQUIFER SUCH WATER SHALL BE SEALED OFF BYshy
(A) INSERTING THE APPROPRIATE LENGTH(S) OF CASING TO A DEPTH SUFFICIENT TO EXCLUDE THE SALINE OR POLLUTED WATER FROM THE WORK
(B) CEMENTING BETWEEN THE CASING(S) AND THE WALLS OF THE BORE HOLE FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE CASING TO GROUND LEVEL
ANY DEPARTURE FROM THESE PROCEDURES MUST BE APPROVED BY THE DEPARTMENT BEFORE UNDERTAKING THE WORK
(5) (A) THE LICENSEE SHALL NOTIFY NSW OFFICE OF WATER IF A FLOWING SUPPLY OF WATER IS OBTAINED THE BORE SHALL THEN BE LINED WITH CASING AND CEMENTED AND A SUITABLE CLOSING GEAR SHALL BE ATTACHED TO THE BOREHEAD AS SPECIFIED BY NSW OFFICE OF WATER
(B) IF A FLOWING SUPPLY OF WATER IS OBTAINED FROM THE WORK THE LICENSEE SHALL ONLY DISTRIBUTE WATER FROM THE BORE HEAD BY A SYSTEM OF PIPE LINES AND SHALL NOT DISTRIBUTE IT IN DRAINS NATURAL OR ARTIFICIAL CHANNELS OR DEPRESSIONS
(6) IF A WORK IS ABANDONED AT ANY TIME THE LICENSEE SHALL NOTIFY NSW OFFICE OF WATER THAT THE WORK HAS BEEN ABANDONED AND SEAL OFF THE AQUIFER BYshy
(A) BACKFILLING THE WORK TO GROUND LEVEL WITH CLAY OR CEMENT AFTER WITHDRAWING THE CASING (LINING) OR
(B) SUCH METHODS AS AGREED TO OR DIRECTED BY NSW OFFICE OF WATER

(9) IF THE BORE AUTHORISED BY THIS LICENSE IS LINED WITH STEEL OR PLASTIC CASING THE INSIDE DIAMETER OF THAT CASING SHALL NOT EXCEED 220 MM
(I 0) DURING THE FIRST YEAR OF ISSUE OF THIS LICENSE THE VOLUMETRIC ALLOCATION IS DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL FROM THE DATE OF ISSUE OF THE LICENSE TO THE END OF THE IRRIGATION YEAR
(I I) NSW OFFICE OF WATER SHALL HAVE THE RIGHT DURING THE CURRENCY OF THIS LICENSE TO VARY AT ANY TIME THE VOLUMETRIC ALLOCATION OR THE RA TE AT WHICH THIS ALLOCATION IS TAKEN
(12) THE LICENSEE SHALL INSTALL TO THE SATISFACTION OFNSW OFFICE OF WATER IN RESPECT OF LOCATION TYPE AND CONSTRUCTION AN APPLIANCE(S) TO MEASURE THE QUANTITY OF WATER EXTRACTED FROM THE WORKS THE APPLIANCE(S) TO CONSIST OF EITHER A MEASURING WEIR OR WEIRS WITH AUTOMATIC RECORDER OR METER OR METERS OF THE DETHRIDGE TYPE OR SUCH OTHER CLASS OF METER OR MEANS OF MEASUREMENT AS MAY BE APPROVED BY NSW OFFICE OF WATER THE APPLIANCE(S) SHALL BE MAINTAINED IN GOOD WORKING ORDER AND CONDITION A RECORD OF ALL WATER EXTRACTED FROM THE WORKS SHALL BE KEPT AND SUPPLIED TO THE DEPARTMENT UPON REQUEST THE LICENSEE WHEN REQUESTED MUST SUPPLY A TEST CERTIFICATE AS TO THE ACCURACY OF THE APPLIANCE(S) FURNISHED EITHER BY THE MANUFACTURER OR BY SOME PERSON DULY QUALIFIED
(13) THE ALLOCATION HAS BEEN DETERMINED FOR THE TOTAL AREA OF THE LAND DESCRIBED IN THE LICENSE IN THE EVENT OF PART OF THE LAND BEING DISPOSED OF THE ALLOCATION WILL BE SUBJECT TO REVIEW
(14) DURING THE MONTH OF JULY EACH YEAR THE LICENSEE SHALL FURNISH TO NSW OFFICE OF WATER ON A FORM WHICH WILL BE PROVIDED A RETURN SHOWING THE METER READING OF THE HOURS PUMPED THE EXTRACTION RA TE FOR EACH MONTH DURING THE PREVIOUS TWELVE MONTHS AND IF AN IRRIGATION LICENSE THE AREA OF EACH CROP TYPE IRRIGATED AND THE METHOD OF APPLICATION OF THE WATER REGARDLESS OF THE NUMBER OF TIMES SUCH AREAS WERE ACTUALLY WATERED
(I5) THE LICENSEE SHALL MEASURE AND RECORD BOTH THE PUMPING AND NON-PUMPING WATER LEVELS IN THE BORE AT LEAST TWICE EACH YEAR IN BOTH JANUARY AND JUNE (OR JULY) AND FORWARD A COPY OF THESE RECORDS WITH THE ANNUAL GROUNDWATER RETURN

GROUND WATER LICENSING PROCEDURES
1 After receiving this bore license from the Department the license holder then makes arrangements with a licensed driller to sink and construct the bote A work plan and contractual agreement by both parties prior to commencement ofconstruction work is highly recommended
2 The Driller must sight the bore license before constructing the bore
3 The Driller is required to complete the Form A
4 As a license holder you are advised to make and keep copies of the completed Form A and the plan showing the location of the bore
5 The signed and completed Form A together with the plan provided is to be returned to
