TREE PLANTATION PROGRAM

The NSS units of Dhole Patil Colege of Engineering,organize Tree plantation Program on 1st

July 2016.aimed at spreading awareness among the people about environment.

Mrs.Uma S. Dholepatil, Secretary DPES Mentioned the importance of environment

conservation. 50 trees planted at campusr.

Dr.Abhijit Dandawate, Prof.B.J.Patil, Dr.Aarti Dandawate and teaching staff and NSS volunteer

were present for program.

SENDING RAKHI & GREETING TO INDIAN SOLDIERS

Brotherhood

On occasion of Freedom Fortnight DPCOE NSS Unit has conducted event on Rakhi Festival on

9th August 2016.

It is a tribute by lady faculties to our beloved Indian soldier.

Rakhis and greetings were sent to soldiers as token of appreciation and honor of Indian soldiers.

This event will boost the moral and courage of our soldiers that citizens are with Indian soldiers

in every situation.

Rakhi through Envelops were posted to the Army Headquarters unit in J & K.

CLEANNESS CAMPAIGN

Cleanliness is godliness. It is an on going activity in the college throughout the year.

During NSS unit organized activities like dumping littered things on the ground on 10th

August

2016. Cleanliness helps society to fight against diseases. It spread message to all the importance

of cleanliness.

SOCIAL DRAMA

DPCOE NSS Unit has paid tribute to our soldiers in their own way on 15th

August 2016.

They presented and participated in the drama.

Plot and Message:

Drama is about Indian soldiers that are made captive by enemy. It shows how Indian soldiers do

not give up fighting enemy even in the situations of torture and inhuman treatment.

PATRIOTIC SINGING COMPETITION

College level singing competition had been successfully conducted at IT seminar Hall on Friday,

16th August 2016. For this competition Hon. Principal Dr. S.B. Allampallewar, Hon. Director Dr.

Ranbir Bhatia, Academic Dean Prof. Kanchan Pujari, IT HOD Prof. Talware, and other staff and

student were present.

NATIONAL ANTHEM IN REMEMBRANCE TO INDIAN SOLDIER

SACRIFICE

The event was National Anthem in remembrance to Indian soldiers sacrifice on 23-Aug-2016 at

11.00 am . All the employees and students of our college participated and sung our national

anthem to remember soldiers who laid their lives for us.

PARTICIPATION IN STATE LEVEL “AVHAAN CAMP”

NSS Volunteer Mr. Navnath Ghanvat has selected for state level AVHAAN CAMP 2016

organized by Maharashtra state, which held at Savitribai Phule Pune University during 4th June

to 15th

A SEMINAR ORGANIZED – ENVIRONMENT AWARENESS

A Seminar on Importance of Environment Awareness was organized by NSS unit in association

with “Green Thumb Environment NGO”.

The Seminar was lead by Col. Suresh Patil(President,Green Thumb) and Team.

100 NSS volunteer attended the seminar.

A SEMINAR ORGANIZED – IMPORTANCE OF ORGAN DONATION

A seminar on Organ Donation was organized by NSS unit in association with B.J.Medical

College Pune on 20th Sept. 2016.

The Seminar was lead by Dr. Arati Salunke(B.J.Medical) and team.

The Seminar was attended by 100 NSS volunteer.

SOCIAL AWARENESS RALLY

Social awareness rally organized by DPCOE NSS unit on various social issues like Save girl

child, Drugs de addiction on 15th

Sept 2016 aimed at spreading awareness among common

people about various issues.

Rally is started from Dhole Patil Road and move up to the Tadiwala Road area.

The NSS volunteers raised various slogans and rangoli about social awareness and also perform

street plays on social issues.

“POLICE MITRA PROGRAM”

NSS unit organized program on to show respect towards police and perform street play on

‘Attacks on Police ’.

ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS PROGRAM

DPCOE NSS unit organized program on Road Safety and Clean India Campaigning program on

Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd

Oct. 2016 at Pune Station area.

NSS students spread on traffic regulations regarding road safety.

50 NSS students participated in road safety program.

BLOOD DONATION CAMP

NSS unit organized Blood Donation camp in association with Sasson Hospital, Pune on 28th

Feb.

2017. About 100 students donated blood in camp.

The program was inaugurated by Hon.Chairman Shri.Sagar Dhole Patil.

WORLD AIDS DAY PROGRAM

As a part of World AIDS Day Street play competition organized by NSS unit on 1st Dec. 2016

and create awareness among the students regarding HIV AIDS.

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM

Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) workshop is

conducted at Dhole Patil College of Engineering, Pune on 27/02/17. The Key speaker Dr.

Vaishali Shinde (NGO) , Mrs. Uma Dhole Patil (Secretary, Dhole Patil Education Society), Dr.

Abhijit Dandavate (Principal, Dhole Patil College of Engineering, Pune) , HODs, Students

witnessed the workshop.

Dr. Vaishali Shinde addressed students. She has highlighted how to manage unsolicited act at

workplace. Mrs. Uma Dhole Patil enlightened how females should maintain dignity in society.

Dr. Abhijit Dandavate disseminated work process of Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) at

Dhole Patil College of Engineering.

Dr. Arati Dandavate gave a presentation on Sexual Harassment at Workplace. She has

meticulously covered topics on Sexual Harassment at Workplace. Students were made released

how to tackle unwanted situation.

NSS chief Coordinator Prof. Shrikant Jagtap and his team played drama on this topic. The play

really gave clear picture of society where these unsolicited acts are commonly seen and heard.

VITTIYA ABHIYAN

DPCOE NSS Unit organized VITTIYA ABHIYAN on 5th Jan. 2017 to spread awareness among

common people about cashless society and to students guide people about digital payment

system.

50 NSS volunteers participated in VITTIYA ABHIYAN.

REPUBLIC DAY

On the occasion of Republic Day, NSS unit conducted Program to Celebrate the event in the

college Campus.

Chief Guest, Chairman Shri. Sagar Dhole Patil and Principal of college were present for the

program.

YOUTH DAY-SWAMI VIVEKANAND JAYANTI

The NSS unit of Dhole Patil College of Engineering organizes Swami Vivekanand Jayanti.

We celebrate Swami Vivekanand’s Jayanti as ‘National Youth Day’.Thoughts of Swami

Vivekanand always inspire and motivate us.

MAHATMA PHULE JAYANTI

Mahatma Jyotirao Phule work for education through his life.

So, in the remembrance of Mahatma Phule we celebrated his birth anniversary in college. NSS

unit of college organizes the program.

The NSS unit of Dhole Patil College of Engineering celebrated Independence day on 15th

August.

SAVITRIBAI PHULE JAYANTI

NSS unit organized a program on Savitribai Phule Jayanti.

Program officer along with the Principal Sir were present for the program.
