The Troy Buggy Worl:s (Troy, OH) was incorporated in 1891 with a capital sto ct of S 150,000. Jobn McCurdy and Mark Knoop soon sold liieir srock 10 George W. Scou and Jobn T Knoop. Al the amual meeting at lhe end of 1892 the compllIJ)' declared on eight pe=nt di\oidend Md reported that it paid out $56,700 in wagcsdwing the year.

Owing much of 1 ll94 it was closed down, bw in the Spring of I 895 business was to good tbal !he company added a tbrec­stor)' 100 fOOI by 100 foot adrutioo 10 iu &ct0ry. 11 closed its reposhory (buggy sllow room) in the downstairs of the Cily Buuding arul moved it w the ground floor of the oew Iac1ory addition.
