Dry weather screen locations identified in previous year as having potential illicit discharges.
Long term monitoring of the MS4 will be addressed by continued dry weather screening. The current approach is to revisit any locations identified during the previous year as being a potential illicit discharge as well as one-third of all MS4 outfalls on a rotating basis, so that all outfalls are screened at least once every three years.

Identify Properties with Increased Potential for Illicit Discharges Stacey Boumis, Community Services Director Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District (FSWCD)
Undertake a GIS analysis which identifies industrial activity, warehouses, and large parking lots.
FSWCD will conduct a desktop analysis of existing GIS data provided by the Village of Obetz as well as data collected and produced by Franklin Soil and Water. The intent of this analysis will be to identify properties with increased potential for illicit discharges (sites with industrial activity, warehouses, large parking lots, vehicle and semi storage, etc.). Data will also be cross-referenced with a current list of Industrial Permits to check for compliance. A notification procedure will be developed for sites that need to obtain an Ohio EPA permit. The result of the analysis can be used as a referenced for potential outreach opportunities.
