HELP OTHERS: Whether through volunteering, supporting a friend, or opening a door for a stranger, helpingothers increases pleasurable feelings, most especially gratitude!

DON'T BE PICKY, APPRECIATE EVERYTHING: You don't need to save your gratitude for "big" things, littlethings are just as important and meaningful. A smile from a stranger, the professor ending class a couple ofminutes early, or a cup of hot chocolate on a cold day, it all counts!!

FIND GRATITUDE IN CHALLENGES: Look for meaning and opportunities to learn and better yourself andothers during challenging times. It is kind of like that old saying, "when life gives you lemons, makelemondade!"
