Backpack Program at Criss School The Backpack Program at Criss Elementary School is a new program

designed to supplement meals of thirteen students who may need help

during the weekends. We are currently supplying items for the

second weekend of the month. The following items were added to

the backpacks: microwaveable pasta and macaroni and cheese, instant oatmeal, noodle

soup, juice boxes, applesauce, pudding, Pop Tarts, Goldfish, animal crackers, pop corn,

and a bag of chips. The items may vary from time to time, but we hope to supply

similar things as time goes on. As of today, the school does not have the first weekend

of the month covered so we are hoping that perhaps we can expand to cover that

week as well.

If you would like to support Emmanuel through your Kroger

purchases, you can call 1-800-853-3033 and a customer service person

will help you. Or you go to Kroger.com. If you don't have a Kroger

account, create an account. Then sign into your account. Find

"Community" in the header, scroll down and click on "Kroger Community Rewards."

Then click on "View Your Community Rewards Details." You'll see your Personal

Information and then Community Rewards. If Emmanuel Baptist, Parkersburg, WV is

not designated, you'll click on "Edit." Search for Emmanuel and designate it.

Emmanuel's organization number is: 87326.

If you would like to support Emmanuel through your Amazon

purchases, go to Smile.Amazon.com... Go to "Your Account" in the

header, scroll down and click on "Your Amazon Smile." You'll see your

current charity listed (the default charity is the Red Cross). If "your

charity" is not Emmanuel Baptist Church, Parkersburg, WV, click on

"change charity" then search for Emmanuel Baptist Church, Parkersburg, WV (be sure

to include Parkersburg because there are many Emmanuel churches) and designate it.

New Giving Options at Emmanuel Emmanuel has teamed up with Clover Donations to provide an online giving option for

our members. The process is simple. Use the following link to get to our giving site:

https://emmanuelbaptistchurchwv2.cloverdonations.com/EBC-donations/. When you

get to our giving site, you'll be asked which area of the church ministry you would

like to support. Your giving options include the following: General Fund, Capital

Fund, Benevolence Fund, America for Christ Mission Offering, World Mission

Offering, Mountain State Offering, Retired Minister's and Missionaries Offering, One

Great Hour of Sharing Offering, Easter Offering, Thanksgiving Offering and Christmas

Offering. Check the area you want to support... Then you'll be asked if this is a one-

time donation or a recurring gift. You'll be asked to designate the amount. You'll

put in your contact information. Then you'll put in your payment information. You

have the option of a Credit Card (this includes Debit Cards) or Bank Draft. Then

you’ll be asked if you’d like to “create an account.” Click “yes” and fill in. Once all

your account information is filled in, there is a final tab that says, "Make Donation."

You will receive an email confirmation of your gift. The next time you sign in to

make a donation, you’ll click on the “Sign In” tab in the upper-right hand section

of the header. You will sign in by giving your email address and password and then

you’ll be ready to make another donation.

There is a small service fee for giving online... A bank draft fee is 1% of the

donation. A Debit card fee is 2% of the donation. A credit card fee is 3% of the

donation. Some people will increase their donation by a small amount to cover the

service fee. For example, if you made a $100 gift to the "general fund" using a bank

draft payment option... there would be a $1 service fee. You might want to give $101 to

cover this fee. The same $100 gift using a debit card would include a $2 fee; using the

credit card option would be a $3 fee.

We hope that offering this online service will help people to give to our ministry,

capital program and mission offerings in new ways that will honor God and

advance his Kingdom.
