Interested members of the public will be given an opportunity to speak directly to the Finance Committee regarding the Draft Plan directly following the staff presentation on Monday, November 25, 2013. In addition, the Chair of the Finance Committee will receive written comments from the public with respect to the Draft Plan, on or before Monday, December 9, 2013. The Five Year (2013 – 2017) Financial Plan that was adopted by Council last year may be viewed on the City’s website at www.surrey.ca. Reports that contain the Draft Five Year (2014 – 2018) Financial Plan will be posted on the City’s website the week of November 18, 2013.

Once the Finance Committee is satisfi ed that the Draft Five Year (2014 – 2018) Financial Plan is acceptable, it will be submitted to City Council for approval at a Regular Council meeting, which is expected to occur on November 25, 2013.

and 435 – 192 STREET, BYLAW, 2013, NO. 18079NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the intention of the City Council of the City of Surrey, pursuant to Section 40 and Section 94 of the Community Charter S.B.C. 2003, c.26, to adopt “Surrey Close and Remove the Dedication of Highway of a Portion of Road Adjacent to 442 – 188 Street and 435 - 192 Street” at the Regular Council-Public Hearing meeting on the 25th day of November, 2013.

This closure is intended to remove the dedication of 0.423 hectares of surplus road allowance in order to facilitate the consolidation with the adjacent properties at 442 – 188 Street and 435 – 192 Street. In accordance with the Community Charter, SBC 2003, c.26, as amended, approval of the disposition of the road will be considered by City Council at a later date.
