We are using a DVD series produced by the magazine, Biblical Ar- chaeology Review. Some of the world's nota- ble scholars will explain how archaeology contributes to our understanding and inter- pretation of ancient events in the Near East. In order to watch the DVDs, we will meet in the youth room, which is next to our regular class room at 9:30 a.m. If you have thought you might like to join us in our search for Bibli- cal insight, this would be a good time to do it. "Digging into the Bible"

Our Bible Study on Sunday mornings takes

a new turn this week, as we explore how

scholars have made Biblical discoveries

through archaeology. We are using a DVD

series produced by the magazine, Biblical Ar-

chaeology Review. Some of the world's nota-

ble scholars will explain how archaeology

contributes to our understanding and inter-

pretation of

ancient

events

in the Near

East.

We will

go "on site"

as archae-

ologists sift

through

ancient

sites which

reveal valuable information about our scrip-

tures, and how that influences what we say

and believe about Bible stories.

In order to watch the DVDs, we will meet in

the youth room, which is next to our regular

class room at 9:30 a.m. If you have thought

you might like to join us in our search for Bibli-

cal insight, this would be a good time to do it.

We would love to have you.

Dear Friends of

the Day Center,

This is an urgent request for

blankets, new or gently

used. Our inventory is very low and our

need is getting greater as the tempera-

tures drop. Any help you could give, in-

cluding passing this on to others, is greatly

appreciated!

Thank you for your constant support all

year long and for all you do for those we

serve together!

Sincerely,
