Evening Prayer (Vespers) Those taking part in the liturgy of the

hours have access to holiness of the rich-est kind through the life-giving word of God, which in this liturgy receives great emphasis. Thus its readings are drawn from sacred Scripture, God's words in

the psalms are sung in his presence, and the intercessions, prayers,

and hymns are inspired by Scripture and steeped in its spirit.

“Once One Chooses to be a Disciple of

Christ, Stewardship is not an Option”

November 1, 2015 Solemnity of All Saints

See what love the Father has bestowed on us! Today we recall memories of those who have gone before us. The reading from Revelation describes a scene of the last judgement with the saints gathered around the throne of God. Jesus, in the Gospel, tells us plainly that virtuous living will number us among those entering the Kingdom. Through a life of imitating Christ, a life of discipleship, we participate in the family of God, and, through his mercy, join him in heaven. May we remain steadfast in our efforts to follow the Lord in times of distress. ~St. Teresa Stewardship Committee~
