An Eventful Season

American Pharmacists Month and Pharmacy Educators’ Week were celebrated throughout UT. UT News published a story about American Pharmacists’ Month that features a photo of Robert Calabrese, ‘82, pharmacist and manager of the Outpatient Pharmacy at the UT Medical Center. Joel Tavormina, ‘79, director of pharmacy at the UT Medical Center, joins Dean Early in discussing pharmacy services at UTMC and the college’s new Health Science Campus facility.

Recap of American Pharmacists Month

Aaron Lengel, PharmD ‘05, clinical assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice, was recently interviewed on NBC 24 news in Toledo. He discusses common supplements and gives some advice about selecting appropriate supplements. Dr. Lengel offers advice to patients in the Toledo area and stresses the importance of consulting a pharmacist or physician about supplements. Watch

College of Pharmacy Alumni Ice Skating Party Sunday, February 6, 2011 from 3:30 - 5:30 pm

Your College of Pharmacy and College of Medicine Alumni Affiliates invite you and your family to

enjoy TWO AND A HALF HOURS of private ice time at Sylvania Tam O'Shanter Sports Center. Free ice

skating, skate rental and fresh, hot Vito's Pizza and pop on Sunday, February 6.. This event is FREE,

College of Pharmacy Alumni at Toledo Walleye Hockey, Toledo v. Greenville Saturday, February 26, 2011

Your College of Medicine & College of Pharmacy Alumni Affiliates invite you and your family to enjoy

a Toledo Walleye hockey game and an Italian buffet dinner at the Huntington Center for only $25/

person. The buffet runs from 5:30 - 7pm in the Aquarium Room and the game starts at 7 pm. Head
