Christmas Tree lighting and Pictures with Santa in Danville!

After a festive day of shopping downtown, grab a bite to eat at one of our favorite dining options found in downtown Danville, or stop by the Danville Fire Department's Chili Supper at 5:00pm, and help them collect toys for Toys for Tots. The Mayor's Christmas Tree

Lighting will be at Weisiger Park prior to the parade at 6pm. A reception will take place following the event at the Community Arts Center. Danville Children's Choir will be performing also. The 38th annual downtown Christmas Parade, sponsored by the Heart of Danville, will start at 7 p.m. The theme for this year’s parade is: “Christmas Movies."

much more! And don’t forget the cameras, we’ve got

confirmation from the North Pole that Santa himself will

be stopping by!
