Congratulations to our team at

the Hawkesbury District Carnival

2 weeks ago. You all swam your

hearts out and demonstrated

great team spirit.

Parent Morning Tea

It was absolutely fantastic to see so many parents and family

members attend the morning tea. We had informal discussions

about some of the happenings at our school and general

questions and ideas put forward. We have managed to maintain a

P&C, mostly from the 2016 committee. President: Kelly Gardiner,

Vice President: Skye Barry, Treasurer: Megan Ang and Secretary:

Rheearn Louis. It was decided that we will hold similar morning

teas each term on Wednesday mornings in weeks 4 and 8. We will

also be running parent workshops based around some of the

discussions from the morning tea.

Road Safety

Please speak with your children about appropriate road safety

behaviours outside our school and keep an eye on those close

around you. If children are riding scooters or bikes to school, they

need to be accompanied by an adult if under 10 and they MUST

be wearing a helmet.

Easter Egg Donations

We are seeking Easter Egg donations for our Easter Raffle. Please

place donations in the box in the front office. Tickets will be sold

before school in weeks 10 and 11 and the prizes will be drawn at

the Easter Hat Parade on Friday 7th April. All tickets will be $1.00.

End of Term Movie Celebration

We have been lucky to be invited as a school to attend a movie

session, that is also screening our very own Hobartville Movie

created by S3M in 2016 at event Cinemas Parramatta.

Information was sent home last Friday and is also attached in this

newsletter. Friday 31st March. Gold coin donation.

Hawkesbury District Swimming Carnival

Thursday 2 March

Congratulations to all students who competed at the

District Swimming Carnival. Although no one from this

school qualified for the Regional Carnival, everyone put

in their best efforts to work as a team together, well

done. There are often long waiting periods during the

day, between races and the staff are very grateful to the

parents/grandparents/carers who are always willing to

give up their time to support the students throughout the

carnival.
