a car
Always view a car: at house on the logbook In Daylight when the car is dry so you can see it Take a parent or friend for moral support

number under the bonet? Has it been 'Cut–and–shut‘ – teltale
marks on sills Do the number plates match the car? Does it have a service history? Are there gaps in the history? Can they
be explained? MOT certificates should have notes Check the MOT history online Has the CAMbelt been changed Finance and History Check

road . Can you get in and out of the car easily? Can you adjust the seat and steering so you're
comfortable? Can you see the instruments clearly and reach the
controls easily? Try reversing into a parking space to check all round
vision and blind spots. Tyres/wheels – if scuffed and curbed has the car
been looked after? Engine and Suspension Steering and Breaks Clutch & Gears Electricals – check they all actually work
