Exhibitors will drive in and go straight ahead to loading docks and ramps into the rear of the new and old exhibit buildings. Exhibitor parking will be behind the buildings.

Visitor parking will be to the left and right just inside the entry and walk to the new front entrance to the exhibit halls.

All visitors will enter at the new central concourse that will provide access to all exhibit halls. For those parking in the Elmerton Ave. lot, FREE shuttle bus service will drop you off and pick you up at specially designed pickup points in the parking lot and at the main entrance door.

Lancaster Co. Firemen’s Association, Inc. announced that it will host their 47th annual “FIRE EXPO” 2019 SHOW this year on May 17, 18, 19, at the Pennsylvania Farm Show complex in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Show hours are Friday, May 17, and Saturday, May 18, from 10 am to 5 pm. On Sunday, May 19, the hours are 10 am to 4 pm. The show that began as a local event forty-six years ago and for many years was held under tents at a local theme park and has now evolved into one of the premier Fire Shows in the United States.

Last year the show drew 15,638 attendees including exhibitor representatives and their guests who displayed a variety of Fire and Emergency Service equipment and services. The show provides an excellent opportunity for you to make contacts for future needs or purchase many emergency service products at the show. Last year 316 exhibitors showed their products and services at 1155 booth spaces and displayed 198 vehicles for a combined total of 1353 exhibit spaces utilized.

It costs just $9 to see it all. Future fire fighters 9 years old and under get in free. There is also a parking/shuttle bus fee of $10 per vehicle. You can order tickets by mail or online at LCFA.com prior to May 1 and fast track your entry time.

Almost half of the EXPO attendance comes from outside PA, in recent year’s guest register included guests from more than 30 states, Canada and Germany. “FIRE EXPO” is fast becoming a true National “FIRE EXPO.”

There are many nearby places of interest including The Pennsylvania National Fire Museum, just a few blocks away at 1820 N. Fourth St. and is a great place to visit after a great day at the FIRE EXPO.

Also the U.S. Fi re Academy, Get tysburg Battlefield, Lancaster Amish Country, and Hershey Park/Chocolate World Attractions, are just a short drive from Harrisburg.

The Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex is located just South of Interstate 81, along PA Rt. 22 (N. Cameron St.) between Maclay St. on the South side, and Wildwood Park Drive, on the North side, the drive that also leads to Harrisburg Area Community College and their Public Safety Training Facilities. I-81South connects to PA Turnpike (West) and I-81 North connects to nearby I-83 and I-283 to the Pennsylvania Turnpike (East) and the nearby Harrisburg International Airport (MDT). Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI) and Philadelphia Airports (PHL) are about 1-1/2 hrs. away.
