Who are we? Northwest Datsun Enthusiasts (NWDE—pronounced
‘nude’) is an organization dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment
of all Datsun/Nissan vehicles. We meet monthly and try to schedule
automotive/social activities on a monthly basis (see Calendar of Upcom-
ing events). We are members of the Western Washington Sports Car
Council (WWSCC). NWDE is not affiliated with Nissan Motor Compa-
ny, Ltd.

Treasurer Report; Steve Carter, Current Balance; $2,695.00 Expenses; $ 29.85 New Income $52.00 OFFICER ELECTIONS FOR 2017; Results President; Antonio Vice- President Ted Secretary Don Treasurer Steve OLD BUSINESS; Annual party at Firestones Jan. 28th, trophy's on order by Tana, Jack will again handle BBQ meats, party budget again at $250.00. Discussion about new names for trophy for next year, ie; most improved car. Auction at party, bring something and we will auction it. Potluck as per usual. NEW BUSINESS; Newsletter now done by Ted and first issue looked great. Thanks Ted for taking this on! Call out by Ted for club members to submit stuff for next issue. Ted again offered to order the new Datsun calendar for 2017 for those who wanted one, 6 people ordered and will pick up at par-ty,$14.00 ea. Discussion about 2017 car shows attended as club; Greenwood, Don is contact; Return To Renton; Antonio is contact; Solvang is 30 this year so large turnout is expected. Pete Peters Progress update
After almost three years, my ’67 1600 roadster
leaves the garage for body work and painting.
Color? Porsche Guards Red, of course. Mister
Firestone helped with attaching the towbar and
hooking up to his truck before heading off to An-
aheim. Mister Anderson graciously stepped in.
His expertise in maneuvering a tow, especially in
reverse, saved me from further embarrassment.
Next steps are some frame modifications, then
strip down for frame and other parts to go to
powder coater.

gawk at vehicles, then order pizza.
