Executive Committee Reportso President: Martha Michalak – See Fundraising information below. Vice President: Dawn Deak – Nothing to report. Secretary: Kim Dunn – Nothing to report. Treasurer: Fred Pumper – $74,554.07 balance. $38,000 from sports pass revenue. More cash

from sport passes will be coming in when winter sports start.-CPA Michael Burman is overseeing old tax files and penalties accrued for not filing in the past. --He is currently working on lowering the $35,000 penalty assessed.-Martha and Fred are working on a PayPal account that belongs to the Boosters and not have the PayPal belong to one person due to the position ever changing. Fiscal year is July 1-June 30. CPA is in the operating budget and it is helpful to have another set of eyes on the forms/taxes.

o Request #4 – Athletic Department (Cover costs for coaches attending state championships). – Bryan Masi, A.D.

o Request #5 – Gymnastics (Michigan Academy of Gymnastics practice facility rental). – Michelle Lewis stated the facility is in Westland and allows the teams good access for gymnastics practice. The gymnastics team is very competitive and was 2nd in the state last year. The team does fundraise as well and does not have any school issued uniforms (personal leotard).

o Request #6 – Hockey (Offset cost of ice rental and new Varsity hockey bags). –Coach Gordie Brown and Ted Kearnan fundraise and need to lesson the cost to the team. Hockey bags and jerseys are used for 4-5 years.

Sport Passes/Corral Club: Maria Lindow/Andrea Coutureo $38,000 in sport pass sales; will get more sales when basketball starts.o All parking spots at Cooke parking lot sold for home football games.

ACTION: Representatives-encourage your teams to purchase sport passes which can be bought throughout the year and be ordered at any time.

Concessions: Patty Ebacho Last home football game coming up. One more home soccer game with a couple home

volleyball games left.o Basketball concessions start in December.o Athletic Boosters are breaking even, possibly making a little less, but goal of concessions

is to help fund the athletic teams.

Fundraising: Kris Yanagi/Martha Michalako Talked at length about the Harlem Wizards (basketball wizardry) and the fundraiser at

NHS on November 27, 2018. Boosters have the potential to make $11,000 in ticket sales. Boosters would need sponsorships and volunteers!

o Thirty sports teams-possibly sell at least 10 tickets and 1 sponsorship per team.o Would need to get a big committee of volunteers to make it possible.o Martha sent out a sign up at the meeting and will create a signup genius for the volunteers.o Ticket sales begin October 10th. $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Tickets will need to

be sold at the next football game and conferences. ACTION: We need our athletic representatives to get the word out to their teams!

o Scholarship: Nicole Lane – nothing to report.

o Spirit Wear: Cynthia Straky/Danielle Lutteke

o Spirit wear sold at Homecoming football game.o Spirit wear handed out-made $2,000.o $9,390 made in September.o Spirit wear will be sold at upcoming Conferences and before the holidays. Looking at

purchasing more inventory.

Varsity Football 2-4. Three games left. Volleyball 9-0 in Division. Currently ranked 5th in the State. Boys Soccer 7-4-3; Tuesday, October 16 Districts 1st round. Boys Tennis 7-0 Division Champs! First since 2008. Ranked #7. Beat Novi 8-1 Girls Golf 6-0 Division Champs! Ranked #1! Boys CC 2-1 Division. Ranked #15 Girls CC 3-0 Division. Ranked #1! Girls Swim 3-1. At Novi Thursday. Ranked #7

o ACTION: Alpine Skiing holding poinsettia sale November 1-15. Three leaf $25, wreath $35-combination is $60
