PUNCTUALITY OF MAIL/EXPRESS TRAINS

PUNCTUALITY ABOVE 90% ACHIEVED FOR THE MONTHS OF MAY, AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER 2013.

A NEW RECORD OF 92.65% PUNCTUALITY OF MAIL/EXPRESS TRAINS WAS MADE IN THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER 2013.

INTENSIVE MONITORING, SIGNIFICANT REDUCTION IN ASSET FAILURES AND RATIONALIZATION OF TRAIN MOVEMENT THROUGH TIME TABLING CHANGES, BROUGHT ABOUT THIS PERCEPTIBLE IMPROVEMENT IN PUNCTUALITY OF M/EXP TRAINS.

NR HAS THE HEAVIEST PASSENGER OPERATION OVER IR WITH 505 MAIL/EXPRESS TRAINS DAILY.

PASSENGER AND SUBURBAN PUNCTUALITY ALSO IMPROVED OVER LAST YEAR.
