Throwback
That’s right. Baseball is back. The smell of fresh
cut grass, trails of dirt and mud throughout your
kitchen, new friendships being made and the
realization that you will be eating at least 4 meals a
week at the snack bar. Ahhh yes, baseball is back.
There are some exciting changes happening at
North Sunrise. First of all, 2012
will be a “throwback” season.

You will see special snack bar days with rollback
prices, as well as highlighted “Saturday Night
Games of the Week”. These games will draw
huge crowds and will be played under the lights.
Imagine being in Single A and playing on the big
fields with music, cheering sections and even a 7th
inning stretch! This season is sure to bring
together new friendships, for the kids and the
parents. We hope to see you all at the upcoming
fundraisers (shameless plug, not only am I the
editor, but also in charge of fundraising.) But most
of all, we want the 2012 season to be the very best
season yet. So, stop staring at your calendar
wondering where all of your free time went.
Remember to keep your car stocked with water,
seeds, chairs, jackets, blankets, umbrellas and
enough toys to keep the siblings entertained.
Look forward to your weekly slurpie, chili cheese
dog and the constant begging from the kiddos to
“go to the snack bar……PLEEEEAAASSE!!!”. It’s
baseball folks. Embrace it. This is where your
child will meet their best friend. You will meet
your neighbors, finally. And if you look around,
you may see the next MLB star. Good luck
players, parents and fans. Now…..Let’s Play Ball!
