WHY RALEIGH?

For decades, Raleigh has enjoyed accolades as one of the best cities in the United States. Raleigh is also a great place to watch some of the nation’s highest ranked professional and amateur sports teams — including the Stanley Cup winning Carolina Hurricanes, the Carolina Railhawks, and professional baseball favorites such as the Triple A Durham Bulls and Double A Carolina Mudcats. Three of Tobacco Road’s legendary ACC basketball teams are here too — the NC State Wolfpack, UNC Tarheels and the Duke University Blue Devils — the nation’s most notorious college basketball rivalries.

Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill form “The Triangle,” the central North Carolina region renowned for its culture of scientific advancement and competitive excellence. Research Triangle Park (RTP) spans nearly 7,000 acres and is home to more than 170 global companies, including IBM, GSK, Syngenta, RTI International, Credit Suisse, and Cisco, this proximity fosters an unparalleled culture of scientific advancement and competitive excellence. Through five decades, RTP has generated economic activity, and engaged the talents of local graduates and citizens.

“Recognized for its wealth of creativity, highly skilled and educated workforce, and superior quality of living.”

Why North Hills?“There are so many places to find, so many different nuances to discover at every corner you turn at North Hills.”

HISTORY

The original North Hills shopping center was built in 1967 as the “first two-story mall” between Washington, DC, and Atlanta. The new North Hills has transcended from just a shopping center into the beating heart of the Midtown Raleigh district.

North Hills’ eclectic combination of luxury and essential retail, office space, residential, dining, green space and more — has received award after award, including a coveted nod from the International Council of Shopping Centers. North Hills was awarded one of only twenty-one honors presented by the ICSC, and one of just seven in the United States.
