NDS Constructores Engineers: Enzo Valladres Function: School of 10M for 1.4 Pupils Building surface: 6.500 m 2 Terrain Suface:12000m Altamira’s is a school located on the hillside of Los Andes Mountains. It sits on a site that is rectangular measuring 60 meters by 200 meters. Its capacity as a school was to accommodate 10m for 1.4 of its students. The pivot point is the central playground which was originally to be surrounded on all four sides by building. Closed off by the buildings, opening only to the view of the mountains and of the city defining the east-west sight. The gym, which has its multi-propose function of sport activities as well as congregational and theatrical, and the cafeteria make for the center of the site with tall glazed walls encompassing a connection with the classrooms and mainly looking to the street so that it can be used by common public activities.
