NORTH CHINA

Northeast China beat other regions of China in gasoline production by producing 19.93% of

China’s total.

The region has long been top gasoline producer with numerous refineries located, market

sources said.

DALIAN

Dalian Port is located in Northeast China’s Liaoning province and the Port Oil Terminal is a

subsidiary of Dalian Port Group, engaged in the shipping and storage of petroleum products

and liquid chemical products.

REFINERIES AT DALIAN

1) WEST PACIFIC PETROCHEMICAL CO. LTD. (WEPEC)

Dalian West Pacific Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (WEPEC) is a joint venture refinery of

PetroChina, a holding company of CNPC, and Dalian Construction Investment,

SINOCHEM, SINOCHEM (Hong Kong) Petroleum International and Total (France).

PetroChina holds a 28.44% stake in WEPEC.

Dalian West Pacific Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (WEPEC) has always been a big exporter of

oil products in the domestic oil-refining sector. The export amount accounts for more than

50% of the total output.

Crude Oil Capacity

The annual capacity of processing oil of WEPEC is 10 million ton.

Two VLCC every month from UAE, Iran, Kuwait & Oman.

Products Produced

lead-free gasoline series of 90 RON、93RON、95RON and 97RON –

3 shipments every month. Lifters are Vitol, Glencore, SK Energy, Morgan Stanley,

Mercuria, Trafigura .

2) CNPC DALIAN NO 7 PETROCHEMICAL CO. LTD.

Dalian Petrochemical, located in Dalian City of Northeast China’s Liaoning Province, has an annual topping capacity of 20.5-mil mt.

Crude oil Supply :

•Some of the crude oil processed at Dalian Petrochemical comes from the Company's own production in the Daqing oil region

•Saudi Arabia is also a major supplier of crude and it accounts for over 60% of the refinery’s throughput.

Products produced:

Gasoline: It normally produces 350,000mt of gasoline per month, Gas Oil: 700,000mt of gasoil per month Kerosene : 34,000mt of kerosene per month.

– 2 shipments every month.

Lifters are Vitol, Glencore, SK Energy, Morgan Stanley, Mercuria, Trafigura .

3) DALIAN FUJIA DAHUA PETROCHEMICALS CO. LTD.

Dalian Fujia Dahua Petrochemical Co., Ltd is located in Dalian Development Zone Dagu

Mountain Petrochemical Industrial Park, jointly ventured by Fujia Group and Dahua Group.

It is the first combined-aromatics petrochemical project nationwide held by a private-owned

enterprise with 80 hectares of area and total investment of 9.5 billion yuan.

Fujia Dahua Aromatics Project owns a petrochemical terminal with a

a) 100 KT berth,

b) 30 KT berth,

c) 10 KT berth,

d)Two 5 KT berths, privately allocated railway line and 80 million cubic meters of product tank yard.

Aromatics project produces:

a) 700 KT per year of PX,

b) 100 KT per year of OX,

c) 100 KT per year of LPG,

d) 600 million cubic meter of hydrogen,

e) 100 KT of 6#solvent oil,

f) 100 KT of 120# solvent oil,

g) 400 KT of toluene,

h) 200 KT of raffinate oil.

Changxing Island

NEW PROJECTS AT DALIAN

The construction of a 300,000-DWT oil jetty in Changxing Island is expected to

complete at the end of 2011. This jetty is scheduled to be equipped with 4.2-mil cu m

of tanks in the future, said the source.

Dalian Changxing Island Harbor Industrial Zone petrochemical industrial park is

planned to create state-level petrochemical base in 2015 to build 1.2 million tons /

year ethylene project, the development of downstream products of olefin and fine

chemical products, new chemical materials, products, the initial formation of ethylene

and downstream petrochemical products cluster industrial park, Dalian Petrochemical

industry as one of the core blocks. 2025, is expected to build 300,000-ton crude oil

terminal and chemical terminals and storage project, 1500 tons / year oil refining

equipment, 120 tons / year of ethylene, 100 tons / year aromatics, olefins and further

expansion of downstream products and fine chemicals, new materials, chemical

products, the formation of ethylene as a leader, a variety of chemical products both in

refining the integration of base and large-scale port petrochemical industrial park.

Dalian Port Oil Terminal also plans to begin construction of a 100,000-DWT jetty in

the first half of 2012, according to market sources.

Brightoil is also constructing a large oil tank farm in Changxing Island, together with

a 300,000-DWT jetty.

JINZHOU

JINZHOU PETROCHEMICAL REFINERY

•Capacity: 140,000 bbl/day

Crude Supply

•The refinery mainly processes domestic Liaohe and Daqing crudes, with 20-25% consumption of crude from Russia

Products Produced

•Mainly Gasoline 2 to 3 export cargoes per month.

LIAOYANG PETROCHEMICAL REFINERY

(Liaoyang Petrochemical is one of China's leading Russian-sourced crude processors and aromatic hydrocarbon manufacturers)

Liaoyang refinery is a medium / large refinery - petrochemicals complex, with cracking capability.

Crude Supply

•Capacity: 10.0 million tons/annum & 200,000 bbl/day

•Uses crude form Russia.

Products Produced:

Gas Oil: It can supply over 2.6 million metric tons of high-grade diesel fuel to market every year.

Chemicals: Major manufacturer of aromatic hydrocarbon and its derivatives in China, the company produces 700,000 metric tons of paraxylene, 150,000 metric tons of benzene, 60,000 metric tons of orthoxylene, 800,000 metric tons of PTA and 140,000 metric tons of adipic acid every year.

FUSHUN PETROCHEMICAL REFINERY

•Capacity: 9.4 million tons/annum & 186,600 bbl/day.

Crude Supply

Most of the crude oil processed at Fushun Petrochemical is sourced from the Company's own production in the Daqing oil region and the Liaohe oil region, respectively. Crude oil supplied to Fushun Petrochemical is transported from the Daqing oil region and the Liaohe oil region by pipelines.

Products Produced

1) Wax : Shipped by locomotives/ trucks to Baiyuquan

2) Gas Oil: Shipped by locomotives/ trucks to Baiyuquan

3) Fuel Oil : Shipped by locomotives/ trucks to Baiyuquan

HUAJIN REFINERY (PANJIN CITY)

Capacity: 5.0 million tons/annum & 100,000 bbl/day 1).

Crude Supply : Imported crude cargoes will be unloaded at the 300,000 dwt berth at Yingkou port.

Products Produced

Gas Oil : It can produce nearly 2 million mt/year of Gasoil;

Kerosene : 300,000 mt/year of Kerosene,

Naphtha : 950,000 mt/year of Naphtha,

LPG : 126,500 mt/year of LPG,

JILIN

PetroChina Co.'s unit Jilin Petrochemical Co. in northeastern China has recently completed expanding its crude oil processing capacity by a third to 200,822 barrels a day.

•Crude Supply : Jilin Petrochemical will be fed by Russian crude as part of an oil-for-loan agreement signed last year. China to import crude oil from Russia via the pipeline.

•Products Produced :

a) Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene : 580,000 tonnes/year.

b) Styrene : 460,000 tonnes/year.

c) Gasoline

d) Diesel.

DAQING

Crude Supply : The crude oil processed at Daqing Petrochemical comes from the Company's own production in the Daqing oil region. Crude oil supplied to Daqing Petrochemical is transported from the Daqing oil region by pipelines.

Products Produced

Gasoline, Diesel, lubricants, parafin and jet fuel Chemical Products. Group II base oils : It is the only producer of the region. It mainly produces base oils 2CST

and 5CST.

TIANJIN

In Tianjin, Sinopec is operating a 10-million-tonnes/year refinery, which has ethylene production capacity of 1 million tonnes/year and is building a crude oil storage depot. PetroChina's crude oil storage depot, with capacity of 1 million tonnes, went into operation in 2010.

GANSU

PetroChina 60,000 barrel-per-day (bpd) refinery in northern Gansu province. n.

The plant, in the landlocked city of Qingyang, includes a 1.6 million-tonne-per-year (32,000 bpd) fluid catalytic cracker and a 1.2 million-tpy diesel hydrotreating unit.

The Qingyang plant, the second refinery PetroChina built this year, after a major 200,000-bpd Qinzhou refinery in the south, adds to already ample domestic supplies of transportation fuels.

PetroChina built the new small plant after it mothballed three smaller ones in the adjacent regions that were either too old or polluted too much, said the Qingyang official.

The new plant, close to PetroChina's Changqing oilfield, will make gasoline and diesel for national standards III and IV, similar to Euro III and IV qualities, the official added.

About 70 percent of its gasoline and diesel production will be piped to a main oil product pipeline -- operated by No.2 China refiner PetroChina -- that stretches from the northwestern city of Lanzhou to the central city of Changsha.

Sinopec Tianjin Petchem :

The production of gasoline is 70,000mt, flat on month; gasoil output declines by 52,000mt to 321,000mt, added the source.

Its jet production will increase by 10,000mt month on month to 95,000mt, the source also said.

jet for August, which is expected to spur jet production of domestic refineries.

Tianjin Petrochemical is a major refinery in North China equipped with 13-mil-mt/yr topping capacity.

Shandong to see 500,000-mt/yr LPG aromatization units on stream in H2

Three LPG aromatization plants with the total annual capacity of 500,000mt are expected to be put into production in Shandong Province in the second half of this year.

When coming on stream, the three plants may need to purchase 750mt per day of C4 LPG as feedstock to produce about 700-800mt ultraclean LPG daily.

Shandong is expected to add 800,000mt per year of LPG aromatization capacity in total in the whole year of 2011.
