North Charlotte Rowing (NCR) MissionTo provide affordable and accessible recreational and competitive rowing programs for youth and adults as a means to promote the sport, foster teamwork and encourage physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.
2North Charlotte Rowing
Rowing is a mentally, physically and socially transformative lifetime sport for people of all ages, body types and athletic abilities.
Rowing is all about Teamwork. Without teamwork the boat will not successfully move through the water. The collective team is greater than the sum of its parts. Learning to work with teammates is an important life lesson.
Rowing requires mental focus in harmony with physical energy which translates into improved concentration in other aspects of one’s life.
