• Good detection of Crime.

1. Hingalganj PS case no. 13/15, dt. 23.01.2015, u/s. 302 IPC adding section 376 IPC. The above referred case started on the written complaint of Nilratan Sardar s/o Dhiren Sardar of Pukuria colonypara, PS Hingalganj, to the effect that his sister namely Malati Roy (Sardar)’s marriage was solemnized with one Sufol Roy of Duttapukur, 10 years ago, according Hindu rites and customs. But her conjugal life was not good. At the eve of last year Durga puja she left her matrimonial house for same issue and used to stay at her parental house till date. On 22.01.2015 between 22.00 hrs & 22.30 hrs deceased Malati Roy (Sardar) received a phone call and left her house and did not return home till date. On 23.1.2015 at about 7.00 hrs to7.30 hrs the dead body of said Malati Roy (sardar) was found at the paddy field of Jibon Mahajan at village Pukuria. After a tremendous effort (technical surveillance, crime analysis and source imputes) under the leadership of addl. Superintendent of police (north), a team of district police detect the above referred clueless murder case and secured arrested of the following involved accused persons, Fani Bhusan Mondal, of Pukuria Mahajanpara, Pukuria Chak, PS Hingalganj, North 24 Parganas from Anakapalle PS area, under Dist. Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh and also leading to the statement of the above said accused person the team also recovered the mobile phone of the deceased.

2. Shasan PS case no- 295/15, dt- 09.12.15 U/S- 380/411 IPC was started. In this case on the

basis of information on 09.12.15 night 3 notorious cow lifter namely (i)Sahjan Ali (48 years) s/o- Akkas Ali of Thakurpukur, Keopara, PS- Thakurpukur, South 24 Pgs, (ii)Ajad Hossain (27 years) s/o- Asgar Hossain of Bokultala, PS- Parnasree, Kolkata, (iii)Emadul Laskar (20 years) s/o- Samser Laskar, of Magrahat, Bakipur Laskarpara, PS- Magrahat, South 24 Pgs could be arrested on chase at Kharibari. A MAX vehicle bearing no- WB-25G-3929 and 3 stolen cows were recovered from their possession.

3. Ashoknagar PS Case No 563/15 dt. 09/07/15 U/S 379/411/ 413/414/120B IPC, on 09/07/15 afternoon in persuasion of source information the entire P.C. team of Ashoknagar PS under the leadership of O/C, Ashoknagar PS held raid at Ashoknagar Station Market, under PS Ashoknagar, Dist. North 24 Parganas and arrested 2 accused persons namely Mahabbat Sardar & Md. Arob Ali Mondal both of Swarupnagar PS areas Dist. North 24 Parganas and also seized huge quantity of stolen gold Gross wt. 1 Kg 251.743 Gms, approximate value Rs. 32,93,336 /- (Thirty two lacs ninety three thousand three hundred thirty six).

4. Habra PS Case No 712 Dated 07.11.2015 U/S 381 IPC. In this case on 07.11.2015 one Amit

Das , branch manager, Shalimar hatcheries limited company, Joygachi branch lodged a case that on 06.11.2015 at about 9 am two cashier of the said company namely Subhas Dutta and Debabrata Nandi noticed that Rs 900000/-(Nine lac rupees only) is missing from cash box , the total cash transaction is depends upon the two said cashier and two key of cash box is under possession of them so the complainant suspect that the said two cashier committed theft and took away the said Rs 900000/-(Nine lac rupees only). During investigation IO of the case

interrogated all the staff of the Shalimar hatcheries limited company, Joygachi branch. No evidences are found against the two cashier Subhas Dutta and Debabrata Nandi. But IO suspected another staff of the said company namely Alok Ghosh . After prolonged interrogation he confessed his involvement in this crime. Then he was arrested and taken into police custody, during PC period recovered Rs 891000/- (Eight lakh ninety one thousand rupees only) from his possession.

5. Habra PS case no-781 / 15 Dated-05.12.2015 U/S-379 IPC. In this case on 05.12.2015

received a complaint by post in which the complainant one Rajesh Poddar, the proprietor of RR Industries, 17, Komedan Bagan Lane, Kolkata, made complaint against an unknown person bearing mobile number-9679400447 to the effect that on 04.11.2015 as per previous booking order his company sent a lot of electronic goods i.e. led TV of TCL addressing to Sapna Electronic Bongaon. But on way to Bongaon at Chongda more under Habra PS the said unknown person in a plea of cash delivery got 20 numbers (pcs) of Led TV from his deliverymen and left away with said number of electronic goods. During investigation IO collect CDR of unknown person’s mobile number, After a long period analysis of CDR, that unknown person could be identified, Then after an extensive raid , IO could be intercepted him, and on interrogation he stated his name as Debu Debnath @ Deb (28) S/O- Monindra Debnath of Maslandapur, Sadpur, PS -Habra , Dist—North 24 Parganas, he confessed that he committed that offence then he was arrested on 05.12.2015 and taken into PC , during PC period recovered the 20 numbers (pcs) of Led TV from his possession

6. Madhyamgram PS Case No.254 dt. 07.05.15. u/s 302/34 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act. In this

case on 07.05.15 evening one Tarak Ghosh & Netai Paul both of Belgharia were murdered by gun shot by unknown miscreants. In course of investigation Police detected the case prompltly and arrested 10 accd. Persons namely (i) Biswajit Saha (ii) Pradip Deb @ Pada (58 yrs) (iii) Somnath Roy Choudhury @ Babu Chowdhury @ Babu Mondal (iv) Pranab Ghosh (42 yrs) (v) Sanjay Sikdar (46 yrs) (vi) Bapi Roy @ Aniket (41 yrs) (vii) Sumon Chakrabarty (30 yrs)(viii) Debraj Maity @ Goapl (21 yrs)(ix) Nabhas Malakar (36 yrs)(x ) Abhijit Sarkar @ Banti (29 yrs) and recovered 7 fire arms which were duly matched with the empty cartrides found in the P.O. during examination at F.S.L. Kolkata.

7. Madhyamgram PS Case No. 97/15 dt. 24.02.15 u/s 461/379 IPC. On the night of 23/24.02.15

unknown miscreants stolen away gold ornaments from Dhar Jewellerry, Digberia. In course of investigation Police detcted the case, arrested one Sattar Sk. S/O Abu Taleb Sk. Of Piyarpur PS Radhanagar, Jharkhand at present Barhampur, Mursidabad and the entire stolen gold ornaments weighing approx 15 Bharies were recovered.

8. Madhyamgram PS Case No. 296 dt. 29.05.15 u/s 457/380 IPC, On the night of 27/28.05.15

unknown miscreants stolen away Bajaj Pulsar Motor cycle No JH 10H 3628 from the house of Rajat Kr Sanyal of Ward No 14. The case was detected, 3 accused persons Namely (i) Raju Dutta S/o.- Swapan Dutta of Deshbandhu Rd, P.S. Madhyamgram, (ii) Subhankar Tanti (23 yrs) S/o.- Babu Tanti of dayrajpur, P.S. Madhyamgram.(iii) Prosenjit Paul (22 yrs) S/o.- Prodip Paul of Bibekanandanagar, P.S.- Madhyamgram were arrested and gold ornaments (approx 05 bharis) and one Bajaj Black colour Pulsar Motor Cycle were recovered.

9. Duttapukur PS case No. 87/15 dated 07.02.2015 u/s- 395/397 IPC in this case the master mind

of this group Md. Selim Molla @ Abul Molla was arrested and 9 others total 50 pieces of febric roll recovered.

10. Duttapukur P.S case No. 902 dated 28/11/15 U/S 392 IPC Added section 397/411 IPC. In this case the goods loaded vehicle was recovered and one main accused Ashutosh Paik and one other were arrested. Vehicle loaded with plywood was recovered.

11. Duttapukur PS case No. 678/15 dated 01/09/15 U/S- 302/201 IPC. In this case the victim namely Promod Ram dead body was found inside the driver’s cabin of vehicle No. WB 23B 2889. During investigation acting on a credible source information arrested Pankaj Singh from Dhanbad Rail Station. The victim was the driver of the vehicle and the accused person high-jacked the same for gain.

12. On 20.08.15 in between 10.25 hrs to 11.15 hrs in course of Naka checking duty at Kaliani Bill

on Taki Road under Deganga PS, SI Sanjoy Roy along with force apprehended two accd persons (i) Raghubir Singh (28) S/O Purusottam Singh of Vill- Utorli, PO- Bishanh, PS- Bishanh, Dist- Jammu, State- Jammu & Kashmir (ii) Rajkumar @ Raj (24) S/O Balbir Singh of Vill- Bega, PO- Chanduchak, PS- R.S Pura, Dist- Jammu, State- Jammu & Kashmir and seized from their possession one white colour Mahindra Bolero vehicle bearing no JK/21B-3481, having Engine no- F4C61508 and Chasis no- F5C42624 under proper seizure list in presence of witnesses as they failed to produce any valid documents / license for possession of such illegal ownership of vehicle and during interrogation they confessed that they obtained the said vehicle by fraudulent means or by theft and are habitual in dealing in this type of interstate crimes. Accordingly on the basis of Suo-motto complaint of SI Sanjoy Roy, Deganga PS Case No 789 dt 20.08.15 u/s 379/411/413/414/34 IPC was started. During investigation it revealed that the above accd persons snatched the vehicle causing bullet injuries to its owner from Jammu & Kashmir over which a case was started at Vijoypur PS Case no 45/15 dt 28.07.15 u/s 307/382/147/34 RPC & 3/25, 4/25 Arms Act in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is pertinent to mention here that the aforesaid accd persons are the most wanted criminals in the state of J& k having involved in series of offence noted against them as follows : i) State- Jammu and Kashmir, Bishna PS case no 78/15 u/s 341/323/327/307/34 RPC & 3/25, 4/25 Arms Act, ii) Bishna PS case no 83/06 u/s 302/34 RPC, iii) Bishna PS case no 115/11 u/s 341/323/147/148 RPC, iv) Bishna PS case no 39/12 u/s 420/468/34 RPC, v) Bishna PS case no 120/13 u/s 341/323/324/34 RPC & 4/25 Arms Act, vi) Bishna PS case no 14/13 u/s 307/34 RPC & 4/25 Arms Act, vii) Bishna PS case no 121/14 u/s 307/34 RPC & 4/25 Arms Act. History citer of Jammu & Sambar area protection of safety act (PSA) a warrant pending at Bishna PS, State- Jammu & Kashmir. Police Personal of Jammu & Kasmir State came to Deganga PS and interrogated both the accd. persons during PC period in the interest of investigation of their case. On completion of investigation the case ended in charge sheet vide Deganga PS CS No- 684, dt- 30.08.15, u/s 379/411/414/34 IPC.

13. Amdanga P.S Case No- 225/15 Dt. 23.06.15 U/s- 395/397 IPC was registered on the basis of written complaint of Sukdeb Malik @ Bapi as Dacoity was committed in his house on the night of 23.06.15. During investigation most of the booties were recovered from the possession of the accused namely i) Bhagirath Sarkar @ Bhogi ii) Abul Kalam @ Bhai da iii) Subodh Biswas, iv) Rakhal Roy @ Shibu, v) Nur Mahammad vi) Monirul Gazi and the case was terminated in charge sheet vide Amdanga P.S. C/S No- 181/15 Dt- 21.08.15 U/s- 395/397 IPC

14. Bongaon PS Case No. 733/15 dt- 13.07.15 u/s 379 IPC. On the basis of written complaint of

Arati Sikdar W/o Subhas Sikdar of Subhaspally, PS- Bongaon, Dist- North 24-Pgs to the effect that on 12/07/15 at about 22:00 hrs her ten wheeler lorry having Reg No. WB 23B- 9242 was kept at Mediyapara on the side of Jessore road. But on 13/07/15 the complainant’s driver & khalashi found that the said lorry was stolen by some unknown miscreants from said place. The Vehicle have been recovered from Liluah, Howrah and two accused persons namely (i) Jahangir Mondal and Raju mondal of Vira, were arrested and the gang has been detected which also leads to detect the Lorry theft cases of Barasat PS, Amdanga PS & Gopalnagar PS.

15. Bongaon PS Case No. 985/15 dt- 05.09.15 u/s 392 IPC. On the basis of written complaint of

Branch Head Mr. Amit Das s/o Gopal Das of Maniktala, PS- Ashoknagar of Manappuram Finance Limited, Bongaon Branch, to the effect that today (on 05.09.15) at 16:00 hrs one man cover his face by cloth entered in your branch and showing arms and throwing chilli dast took away 4306.10 gm. gold ornaments and cash Rs. 2,40,208/- from valt.The case has been detected and almost all the stolen gold near about 04 Kg and Cash of Rs. 70000/- have been seized from the possession of arrested two accused persons namely Uttam Ghosh @ Ratan and Rupali Ghosh.

16. Bongaon PS Case No. 1092/15 dt- 08/10/15 u/s 461/379 IPC. On the basis of written complaint

of Gopal Roy S/o Shyamal Roy of Choto Sehana, PO- Mondal para, PS- Gaighat, Dist- North 24-Pgs to the effect that on 08/10/15 at about 09:30 hrs the complainant found that unknown miscreants committed theft in respect of 110 pcs Brand Co. mobile, 2 LCD, 2 CPU and cash Rs. 25/30 thousand from his mobile shop at Kalupur bazar. The case has been detected and 40 stolen Mobile Phone, 1 CPU, Cord, Mobile appratous, have been recovered from the possession of arrested accd namely (i) Sudip Paul (ii) Rajesh Ray (ii) Santanu Chakraborty (iv) Sudipta Sarkar & (v) Abir Das.

17. Bagdah P.S Case No – 84, DT – 26.01.15, U/S – 392/397 IPC & 25/27/35 Arms Act, The

fact of the case in brief is that on 26.01.2015 one Chapola Bawali, W/O – Gobindo Bawali, of Sararhati Kathal Bagan, Sindrani, P.S. Bagdah, Dist. North 24 Parganas, came to PS and submitted a written complaint to the effect that on 26.01.2015 at about 02:00 hrs while she along with her son and two sisters also with her mother all were sleeping at her paternal house and that time 04 unknown miscreants here entered into the house room to broke-up the way of the outside gate and showed the fire arms to the complainant and other in mates with put in them fear and assaulted and committed dacoity with extortion in cash Rs – 30,000/- and some gold ornaments and after half an hour the miscreants were escaped from the house with the advantage of darkness. On complaint of Chapola Bawali the above noted case was started.During investigation (1) Sujan Mitra (27 years), S/O- Nando Dulal Mitra of Khatura,

Uttar Para, Gobordanga, P.S - Habra, Dist. North 24 Parganas, (2) Abhijit Biswas (30), S/O- Jevan Biswas, of 115, Dattabad, Saltlake, Kol- 64, Bidhannagar South, Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate were arrested from Nadia – Dhantala P.S area and during P.C period some looted gold ornaments, some coins of Rs.10, some copper coins duly been recovered apart from offending weapon i.e One country made improvised pipe gun and ammunition.During investigation (i) Akash Mondal @ Ranjit Sarkar @ Sabuj @ Bijoy, S/O – Goutam Mondal @ Rabindra Nath Sarkar of Bagula College Para, P.S – Hanskhali, Dist – Nadia, @ of Duttafulia, Sreerampur, P.S – Dhantala, Dist – Nadia, (ii) Bappa Biswas @ Patla @ Patol, S/O – Maru Biswas of Duttafulia, Sreerampur, P.S – Dhantala, Dist – Nadia, (iii) Utpal Biswas (28), S/O – Rupkumar Biswas of Fulia More, P.S – Taherpur, Dist – Nadia, (iv) Utpal Biswas (28), S/O – Rupkumar Biswas of Fulia More, P.S – Taherpur, Dist – Nadia were also arrested and some more valuables also been recovered. Both accused persons and valuables were identified by the complainant during TI parade. Charge sheet was submitted against accused (1) Sujan Mitra (27 years), S/O – Nando Dulal Mitra of Khatura, Uttar Para, Gobordanga, P.S – Habra, Dist. North 24 Parganas, (2) Abhijit Biswas (30), S/O – Jevan Biswas, of 115, Dattabad, Saltlake, Kol – 64, Bidhannagar South, Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate, U/S - 395/397/412 IPC & 25/27/35 Arms Act and (3) Akash Mandal @ Sabuj @ Ranjit @ Bijoy, S/O – Goutam Mandal of Bagula Collegepara [Mathpara] P.S – Hanokhali, Dist – Nadia, (4) Bappa Biswas @ Patla @ Patol, S/O – Maru Biswas of Duttafulia, Sreerampur, P.S – Dhantala, Dist – Nadia, (5) Utpal Biswas (28), S/O – Rupkumar Biswas of Fulia More, P.S – Taherpur, Dist – Nadia, (6) Asit Sarder, S/O – Amulya Sarder, of Aishmali, PS – Gangnapur, Dist – Nadia, U/S - 395/397/412 IPC after completion of investigation. It is a case of heinous crime and the detection was perfectly done to prove the offenders as guilty.

18. Bagdah PS Case No – 226, DT – 15.03.2015, U/S – 364 IPC Add. Sec. 302/201/109 IPC, The fact of the case in brief is that on the written complaint of Tarak Barai(45) S/O- Rabindranath Barai of Raghabpur, Sindrani, PS- Bagdah, (N) 24 Pgs the above noted case was started to the effect that on 13.03.2015 his son Kartick Barai had been to the house of his cousin Abinash Roy S/O- Atul Roy of Kamalabash, PS- Bagdah, (N) 24 Pgs to attend an invitation of “Annaprasan” of the daughter of Abinash Roy. After attending invitation Kartick Barai returned home. Again he left his house saying his mother that he was going to the house of Abinash Roy. Up to evening he did not return home. The complainant went to the house of Abinash Roy and came to know that two persons namely Avijit @ Tapan Roy S/O- Atul Roy and Sukanta Roy S/O- Anukul Roy took away Kartick Barai elsewhere. On enquiry Champa Roy W/O- Abinash Roy misbehaved with the complainant. Champa Roy stated that Kartick Barai came to her house but Sukanta Roy and Avijit Roy took him elsewhere. Kartick Barai did not return up to night and at this the complainant thought that Kartick Barai had stayed at his maternal uncle’s house named Krishna Ojha. On following morning the complainant went to the house of Sukanta Roy and Avijit Roy and came to know that Sukanta Roy and Avijit Roy returned home and again, in the morning they went away anywhere and they are untraced. On thorough search the complainant could not traced out his son Kartick Barai. Finding no other alternative he lodged a missing diary at Bagdah PS vide Bagdah PS Missing GDE No-747 Dt. 14.03.2015. Sukanta Sukanta Roy, Avijit Roy and Champa Roy hit upon a plan and kidnapped Kartick Barai and murdered him. The accused Champa Roy has an illegal relationship with Avijit Roy. Recently Champa Roy left Avijit Roy and made a relationship

with Kartick Barai. As a result Avijit Roy would threat with dire consequence of his son Kartick Barai. Champa Roy and Avijit Roy were trying to restore their old relationship but Kartick Barai was their hindrance. The complainant is determined that Avijit Roy , Sukanta Roy and Champa Roy conjointly made a conspiracy and kidnapped Kartick Barai and murdered him. During investigation of the case evidences transpired from kidnapping to murder and serial apprehension of both FIR named and non FIR named accused persons the dead body of the deceased could been unearthed from where it was buried through manual source work and technical analysis. A prima facie charge U/S – 364/302/201/109/34 IPC has been well established against accused (i) Tapan Roy @ Avijit, S/O – Atul Roy, (ii) Sukanta Roy S/O – Anukul Roy, and (iii) Champa Roy @ Shampa Roy, W/O – Abinash Roy all of Kamalabash Mathpara, P.S – Bagdah, North 24 Pgs who are now in Judicial Custody. The case finally ended in to charge sheet vide Bagdah P.S charge sheet no – 420, DT – 18.05.2015, U/S – 364/302/201/109/34 IPC against two non FIR named accused (i) Tapan Roy @ Avijit, S/O – Atul Roy, (ii) Sukanta Roy S/O – Anukul Roy, and (iii) Champa Roy @ Shampa Roy, W/O – Abinash Roy all of Kamalabash Mathpara, P.S – Bagdah, North 24 Pgs. It is a case of heinous crime and the detection was perfectly done to prove the offenders as guilty.

19. Gopalnagar PS Case No. 36/15 Dt. 26.01.15 U/S 395/397 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act and 3/4 E.S. Act., The case was started over the written complain of complainant Debasish Das, S/o. Dilip Das of Palla, Dighirpar, P.S.- Gopalnagar, Dist- North 24 Parganas, to the effect that on 25/26.01.15 night at about 02:20 hrs unknown dacoits entered into the house of complainant by breaking the door and committed dacoits in respect of gold and silver ornaments, mobile phone, utensils, cash at the point of arms and flee away, while fleeing away they hurled bombs to the police vehicle. During investigation of this case I.O. SI Debnath Chakraborty, IO SI Dipankar Bhattacharjee (O/C Gopalnagar PS) and SI Liton Rakshit (O/C Gopalnagar PS) arrested 4 accused person and recovered some gold ornaments and one improvised fire arms and live ammunitions from their possession.

20. Basirhat PS Ccase no 1153/15 dt. 03.11.2015 u/s 394/397/120B IPC & 25/27 Arms Act. In this

case on 02.11.15 night one Firoz Kabir Mondal and his associates have been robbed in respect of Rs 2,50,000/- near Debrajpur under PS Basirhat by three miscreants under gun point and the victims were beaten up mercilessly by the miscreants. In course of investigation all three rowdies were arrested and stolen money Rs 2, 30,500/- along with the offending motorcycle have been recovered.

21. Basirhat PS case no 885/15 dated 12.08.15 u/s 380 IPC. In this case one Subrata Chakraborty

of Basirhat Sainpala was arrested in c/w above referred case after verifying the bi-cycle chassis number which he left at the time of theft. As per his leading statement of accused person huge amount of gold ornaments, two laptops and other valuable gifts were seized. Subsequently the SR property was handed over to the complainant as per court order

22. Basirhat PS case no- 607/15 dt. 31.05.2015 u/s 448/325/323/308/354/506/34 IPC was started.

In this case on 31.05.15 evening one 2 yrs 8 month old child Toufic Alam of Korapara, Basirhat was murdered by means of strangulation and after murder his body was concealed in

an abandoned swamp by his father’s factory worker who conspired with victim’s father’s business rival in lue of money. Subsequently all the conspirers have been arrested by tracking mobile phone

23. Basirhat PS case no 707/15 dt. 24.06.2015 u/s 302 IPC was started. In this case on 23.06.15

night one Molina Ghosh of Nehalpur under PS Basirhat was murdered by one Netai Das who used to maintain an extra-marital love affairs with victim’s daughter-in-law Dimpy Ghosh. Later it came to light that Dimpy instigate Netai to murder her mother-in-law. The case has been detected by tracking mobile phone and subsequently both the accused were arrested.

24. Sandeshkhali P.S. Case No. 161 dt. 28.03.2015 U/S 395/397 IPC. On 28.03.2015 at 20.15

hrs one Rajkumar Dey S/o Late Rashbihari Dey of Uttar Gorda PS Haroa Dist North 24 parganas, Manager of Haroa Mukharjee krishi Bhander came to PS and lodged a written complaint to the effect that on 28.03.15 at 17.00 hrs complainant and others associates namely Laxman Biswas , Dipak Basu, Ajet Ali Mondal all are businessman returning from Gosaba Bazar after collecting money by Bolero van vide no WB 26S6314 and later when they reached at near Kanmari More at that time 5/6 unknown miscreant riding on a two Motor cycle restrain them on the pitch road and looted Cash Rs 1,75000/- and fled away from there, On the basis of written complaint Sandeshkhali PS case 161/15 dated 28/03/15 U/S395/397 IPC, was started, As per endorsement SI Prasanta Mondal, Investigated the case, Subsequently one Dipankar Das S/o Late Nimai Ch Das of Barasat Bidhan Chandra Park, Kolkata-114 , PS Barasat District North 24 Pgs submitted a written complain that at the time of crime he returned his house by Motor Cycle on Kolkata-Basanti highway after collecting money and found that some unknown miscreant committed dacoity by two Motor cycle in a Bolero Car, he try to flee away but the above unknown miscreant apprehended him and take 120000/- from his bag. During investigation depending upon the credible source information 5(five) dacoits ((1) Hossein Molla S/o Samirali Molla of Lowkhali, PS Sandeshkhali (2) Sariful Molla S/o Katep Molla of Rajbari Paschimpara, PS Sandeshkha (3) Soyed Molla S/o Kasem Ali Molla of Rajbari Pubpara (4) Jahangir Hossein S/o Ramjan Ali Molla of Lowkhali PS Sandeshkhali and (5) Rashid Ali Sk S/o Lt Kasem Ali Sk of Nolkora, PS Sandeshkhali has been arrested. That gang was detected and identity of every criminal were unearth. Used Two Motor Cycle vide bearing No WB 12W-5755, & WB 24S-4773 were recovered and seized. Depending upon the statement of accused recovered looted Rs 295000/- from the accused persons also seized a wrist watch, Mobile Phone( Micromax) which was looted from the complainant. All the 5(five) arrested accused persons were identified in T.I. Parade by the witnesses. Used two Motor Cycle also be identified by the witnesses.

25. On 12.06.2015 one unidentified female dead body aged about 35 years was found and recovered from one vacant brick field at Abad Malancha under P.S Minakhan. Later the body was identified Asma Bibi w/o Ismile Molla of Purba Babukhola, PS Minakhan and on the basis of written complainant of Ichaque Ali Molla, S/O- Youchup Molla of Purba Bawkhola, P.S- Minbakhan, Dist- North 24 Pgs Minakhan P.S Case No- 203, Dt-12.06.2015, U/S 302 IPC was started against the husband of the deceased namelyIsmile Molla. On 13.06.2015 S.I Utpal Kr. Saha of Minakhan P.S arrested the accused who confessed his guilt. The case has ended in Charge-sheet vide C.S No. 278 dated 08.08.15 U/S 302 IPC.

26. Baduria P.S Case No 227/15 Dt 11.04.15 U/S 392 IPC was started over the written complaint

of one Ismail Gazi S/o Lt. Sabur Ali Gazi of vill- Raghavkati, P.S. Swarupnagar 24 pgs (N) to the effect that on 09.04.15 at about 13.30 hrs while his nephew namely Litan Gazi was returning on a motorcycle from Basirhat ICICI Bank to his house at Raghavkati under P.S. Swarupnagar after withdrawn Cash Rs. 600000/- from Basirhat ICICI Bank, some unknown miscreants committed robbery in respect of cash worth of Rs 600000/-, near Gandharbapur Panchayet Office at Gandharbapur under P.S. Baduria. During investigation accd persons namely (i) Bakibillah Sardar (29 Yrs) S/o Lt Alauddin Sardar of Paikardanga, P.O Itinda, P.S Basirhat (ii) Sahin Mondal (26 Yrs) S/o Gani Mondal @ Montu of Gachha, P.O Gachha, P.S Basirhat (iii) Anichur Rahaman @ Babu (25 Yrs) S/o Abdus Chattar Gazi of Beniabou, P.O Gachha, P.S Basirhat and (iv) Sakibilla Mondal (32 Yrs) S/o Mahasin Ali Mondal of Gachha, P.O Gachha, P.S Basirhat, North 24 Pgs and (v) Monirul Sardar @ Moni @ Pata (28 Yrs) S/o Afsar Sardar of Baro Akharpur, P.O Itenda, P.S Basirhat, North 24 Pgs were arrested. In this case cash Rs 2,15,000/- was recovered and seized and the case was ended in Charge Sheet vide Baduria PS C.S No 471 dt 08.07.15 U/S 392/395/397/412 IPC.

27. Haroa PS Case No. 28/15 Dated 18.01.2015 U/S 461/379 IPC. The case in brief is that on 08.01.15 received one written complaint of one Asit Mondal S/O Arjun Mondal of Vill- Bihari, PS- Haroa, Dist- North, 24 Parganas the effect that on 17.01.15 night at about 21.00 hrs he closed his shop namely ‘Asit Telecom’ at Nasirhati Bazar and left for his house. On 18.01.15 morning he came to Nasirhati to open his shop and found un-known miscreants broken Grill, shutter and one pillar of one side of his shop and took away 25/30 Pcs old/new Mobile phone and Rs. 5/6000/-. Over this the above noted case was started. SI Sourendra Nath Biswas IO of the case. During investigation, IO arrested four accused persons namely (1) Ismail Mondal S/O Nazrul Mondal of Madartala, PS- Haroa, (2) Giasuddin Molla S/O Jalaluddin Molla of Salipur, PS -Haroa, (3) Sk Nasir S/O Lt. Nizamuddin of Kolbari, PS-Haroa & (4) Ohidul Sk S/O Sk Mahammad of do and recovered the stolen articles from the possession of the accd. persons and the case was ended in Charge Sheet vide CS No. 89/15 dt-27.03.15 u/s 461/379/411 IPC.

28. Haroa PS Case No. 236/15 dt-20.07.15 u/s 380/411 IPC. On 20.07.15 at 13.05 hrs one Dipen Sen S/O Lt. Debendranath Sen of vill+PO-Haroa, PS –Haroa, 24 Pgs(N) came to PS and submitted a written complt. to the effect that on 19/20.07.15 at night at any time some unknown miscreants entered into the complt.’s house by breaking lock of his house & looted away cash Rs. 2 lakhs & gold ornaments by breaking the locker of ‘almirah’ of the complainant. Hence the case. SI Sk Mokbul Haque is IO of the case. During investigation, IO arrested two accused persons namely (1) Mujaffar Mondal (26) S/O Abdul Gofur Mondal of vill-Kalikapur, PS Haroa. (2) Esmail Mondal S/O Nazrul Mondal of Madertala, PS Haroa and recovered most of the stolen articles from the possession of the accd. Persons and the case was ended in Charge Sheet vide CS No. 267/15 dt-31.08.15 u/s 380/411 IPC.

29. Swarupnagar PS Case No-579/15 Dt 27.06.15 u/s-380 IPC. The instant case was started over

the written complaint of one Arun Kumar Nandi S/O-Lt.Surendra Nath Nandi of Vill+PO+PS- Swarupnagar to the effect that on 12.04.15 at dawn an incident of theft in respect of three bhori

golden bangle, others golden ornaments, rupees 30,000/- etc and three pieces mobile phones which Sim Card No. 9153804272 has been occurred in his house. It has been committed by the unknown persons. The accused persons namely 1)Mohasin Mondal S/O-Islam Mondal of Kharda Sing Swarupnagar 2)Jiarul Mondal S/o- Lt.Najrul Mondal of do have been arrested and the stolen articles have been recovered

• Good recovery of Arms Total 389 Nos. of Arms, 501 rds of ammmunations were recovered and 668 persons were arrested. Among such some of the cases are given hereunder:-

1. Ashoknagar PS Case No 351/15 dt. 07/05/15 U/S 25(i)(a)/27/35 Arms Act & 120B IPC. On 07/05/15 in persuance of source information SI Abhijit Pal, ASI Nilkanta Mondal & force under the leadership of O/C, Ashoknagar PS held raid at Radha Chemical More &

Kalyangarh under PS Ashoknagar Police Station, North 24 Parganas and recovered & seized 3 improvised arms including one 7.65 mm Pistol, made in USA with 41 (forty

one) round (9mm, 8mm, 7.65 mm, .32 &.303 ) live ammunitions and also arrested 4 miscreants

2. Ashoknagar PS Case No 476/15 dt. 11/06/15 U/S 25(i)(a)/27/35 Arms Act & 120B IPC, on 11/06/15 in persuance of secrete source information the entire P.C. team of Ashoknagar PS under the leadership of O/C, Ashoknagar PS held raid at Nalanda More under PS Ashoknagar, Dist. North 24 Parganas and recovered 7 (seven) different kinds of improvised country made Fire Arms including a revolver along with 14 (fourteen) round live ammunitions and also arrested two miscreants Provash Saha & Niranjan Karati @ Jhon Bhai.

3. Ashoknagar PS Case No 421/15 dt. 25/05/15 U/S 25(i)(a)/27 Arms Act & 120B IPC. On

25/05/15 in persuance of secrete source information the entire P.C. team under the leadership of O/C, Ashoknagar PS held raid at Dhankal Goli, Ananda Para, New Baigachi, PO & PS Ashoknagar, Dist. North 24 Parganas and recovered 5 (five) different kinds of improvised country made Fire Arms alongwith 15 (fifteen) round live ammunitions and also arrested one miscreant namely Kaushik Mallick @ Kanchan Mallick @ Kancha.

4. Madhyamgram PS case No 216 dtd 22.04.15 u/s 25(i)(a)/27 Arms Act. In this case one acuused namely Bijan Nandi @ Rakhal S/O Lt Nikhil Nandi of 2 No Sreenagar Durgamandap P.S Madhyamgram was arrested and arms-5 & ammunation-8 rds was recovered from his possession.

5. Madhyamgram PS case No 259 dtd 10/05/15 u/s 25(i)(a)/27 Arms Act. . In this case one acuused namely Pradip Deb @ Pada S/O Lt Nares Deb of 2 No Debigarh P.S Madhyamgram was arrested and arms-5 and ammunation-5 rds was recovered from his possession.

6. Duttapukur PS case No. 151/15 dated 28.02.2015 u/s- 20 (b)/29 NDPS Act. In this case accused 1) Nazrul Ali Mondal @ Nazu (20Yrs) S/O- Hazrat Ali Mondal of Bamangachi, P.S- Duttapukur, Dist- North 24 Pgs. & 2) Idris Ali (28Yrs) S/O- Wazed Ali of Bamangachi Purba Para P.S- Duttapukur, Dist North 24 Pgs. was arrested and 06 KG 200 grams Ganja was recovered from their possession.

7. Bongaon PS Case No. 314/15 dt. 24.03.15 u/s 25(1)(a)/25(1b)(e)(g) Arms Act. On the basis of suo moto complaint of SI. Shubhra Sanyal of Bongaon PS to the effect that on 24.03.15 in between 08:35 hrs to 09:05 hrs he along with other officer & force arrested accused persons namely (i) Abdul Rauf Mondal (55) s/o Lt Siputullah Mondal of Kheyaghatpara, Patkelpota, PS Bagdah (ii) Rahima Mondal (45) w/o Abdul Rauf Mondal of do at Chakdah Bus stan, Under PS Bongaon and recovered /seized articles (i) One marketing carry bag containing Ten number of pistol type arms measuring about 7 inch having barrel, bautt etc, ten number of spring and Powder type Chemical (suspicious element), (ii) One another marketing carry bag containing twenty number of ammunition marked as “KF, 7.65 “ at its base, (iii) One original EPIC card, & (iv) One LAVA mobile phone, from their possession. The entire process was done with the assistance of BSF personnel (i) One marketing carry bag containing Ten number of pistol type arms measuring about 7 inch having barrel, bautt etc, ten number of spring and Powder type Chemical (suspicious element), (ii) One another marketing carry bag containing twenty number of ammunition marked as “KF, 7.65 “ at its base, (iii) One original EPIC card, & (iv) One LAVA mobile phone.

8. Bangaon Ps Case no 421/15 dt 17/04/15 u/s 21/25 N.D.P.S. Act was started on the basis of suo-moto complaint of S.I. Shubhra Sanyal of Bangaon PS to the effect that on 17/04/15 in-between 02:15 hrs to 03:35 hrs he along with force arrested accused persons namely (i) Md Jalil (28) S/o Rahimuddin of Maijing, PO+PS Thabal, Dist Thabal, Manipur & (ii) Ranjit Sarkar (28) s/o Rabindranatah Sarkar of Srirumpur, Duttafulia, Ps Dhantala, Nadia at the house of Swapan Karmokar s/o Lt Narayan Ch Karmokar of Ramnagar road, Purbopara, PS Bangaon with 2520 gms of Heroin from their joint possession for illegal sale.

9. Bongaon PS Case No. 314/15 dt. 24.03.15 u/s 25(1)(a)/25(1b)(e)(g) Arms Act. In this case 2 accused persons name ly (i) Abdul Rauf Mondal (55) of Kheyaghatpara, Patkelpota, PS Bagdah (ii) Rahima Mondal (45) of do at Chakdah Bus stan, Under PS Bongaon. During search (i) Ten number of pistol type arms measuring about 7 inch having barrel, bautt etc, ten number of spring and Powder type Chemical (suspicious element), (ii) twenty number of ammunition marked as “KF, 7.65 “ at its base, (iii) One original EPIC card, & (iv) One LAVA mobile phone could be recovered from their possession.

10. Basirhat PS case no 731/15 & 732/15. In these cases on 29.06.15 afternoon Basirhat PS conducted massive raid at Matia Bazar and Sarania Karbala area as per secret source

information and detained five rowdies from whom Ten (10) fire arms including two semi automatic arms and nine(09) live ammunition have been recovered.

11. Sandeshkhali P.S. Case No. 341 dt. 29.06.2015 U/S 25(i)(a)/27 Arms Act. On 29.06.2015 at about 20.15 hrs acting on a source information myself alongwith SI Prasanta Mondal along with SI Sukumar Polley and others forces left PS to work out the source information, when myself alongwith force and officers reached to the spot and found that one person moving in suspicious manner on Kolkata-Basanti HighRoad walking Northern direction from southern side as per indication of my source we apprehended him(.) On interrogation he disclose his identity namely Sk. Habibur Rahaman @ Bachcha Khokan (21) M/M S/O Chattar Sk of Sakdaha Taltala, P.S- Sandeshkhali, Dist- North 24 Pgs, On searched recovered Four improvised country made single shotter Pipe Gun and One Pistol and 2) two round live ammunition and 3) one Nylon Bag from his possession, On demand he failed to produce any valid license in support of his possession. Then SI Prasanta Mondal seized the recovered 5 improvised Arms and 2 rounds ammunitions and prepared a proper seizer list and arrested him,On primary interrogation he pleaded his guilt, Accordingly the case was started. and SI Pabitra Kr Das, Investigated the case

12. Sandeshkhali P.S. Case No. 356/15 dt. 06.07.2015 U/S 25(i)(a)/27 Arms Act. On 06.07.2015 at about 22.55 hrs acting on a source information myself along with SI Asim Pal along with SI Sukumar Polley and others forces left PS to work out the source information, when myself alongwith force and officers reached to the spot and found that one person moving in suspicious manner on Kolkata-Basanti HighRoad walking Northern direction from southern side as per indication of my source we apprehended him(.) On interrogation he disclose his identity namely Abdul Barik Molla(34)M/M S/O Yeakub Molla of Dakshin Barga, P.S- Minakhan, Dist- North 24 Pgs , On searched recovered Three improvised country made pipe Gun and One Revolver and 2) one round live ammunition and 3) one Nylon Bag from his possession, On demand he failed to produce any valid license in support of his possession. Then SI Asim Pal seized the recovered 4 improvised Arms and 1 rounds ammunitions and prepared a proper seizer list and arrested him,On primary interrogation he pleaded his guilt, Accordingly the case was started. and ASI Tapas Ray, Investigated the case

13. Haroa PS Case No-385/15 Dt-06.12.15 U/S 25/27Arms Act. On 06.12.2015 at 19.50 hrs producing seized prohibited firearms and ammunitions, SI Sourendra Nath Biswas of Haroa P.S. lodged a suo-moto complaint that on the basis of confessional statement of the PC accused Obaidul Baidya @ Chote Baidya (42 Years) S/O Kalu Baidya of vill- Batagachi, P.S. – Haroa, Dist.-24 Pgs(N) in c/w Haroa PS Case No-376/15, Dt-03.12.15 U/S 147/148/149/326/307/379/427/436 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act & 3/4 ES Act, he along with force held raid & searched at the house of the said PC accused at Khatra Batagachi under P.S. – Haroa on 06.12.2015 night. On search (1) One country made firearm, measuring about 46 inches in length, having wooden butt, body, barrel, trigger, spring etc., (2) One country made firearm, measuring about 45 inches in length, having wooden butt, body, barrel, trigger, spring etc., (3) One country made firearm, measuring about 43 inches in length, having wooden butt, body, barrel, trigger, spring etc., (4) Seven (07) rounds of 8

mm. ammunitions in a plastic packet & (5) Ten (10) rounds of ammunitions, engraved 12 KF on the base of each ammunitions in another plastic packet, could be recovered under the bed of the PC accused Obaidul Baidya @ Chote Baidya. On demand the said PC accused failed to produce any valid paper in support of possessing such prohibited firearms & ammunitions. Then SI Sourendra Nath Biswas seized the above noted firearms & ammunitions under proper Seizure List in presence of witnesses. He also prepared Labels and took signatures of the witnesses and the said PC accused person thereon. SI Sankar Banerjee is the I.O. of the case. The investigation of the case is proceeding.

• Good arrest in gang rape cases.

Though arrests have been made in most of the rape cases, however arrests were also made promptly in the below mentioned gang rape cases.

1. Deganga PS Case no 838 dt- 10.09.15 U/S 376 (D)/379/411/34 IPC. on the basis of the written complainant of one Pinki Ghosal (19 years) D/O Lt Adhir Ghosal of Jamalpur Hatkhola, PS- Deganga, North 24 Parganas the above noted case was started to the effect that on 09/09/15 at about 22.00 hrs she came down from Sealdaha- Hasnabad local at Haroa Rly Station and proceeded towards her house at Jamalpur through the railway track. As soon as she reached near Jhikra Colony area following two accused persons took her away in a nearby Jangle forcibly and both committed rape forcibly upon her against her will and fled away after taking her bag containing cash Rs. 5000/-, Mobile phone etc. The accused persons are: - 1) Tarak Sarkar @ Gora Litti (40) s/o Lt Deben Sarkar of Vill- Jikra Colony PS Deganga, Dist-24-Parganas North. (2) Shyamal Sardar (30) s/o Lt Mongal Sardar of Vill- Halthuba Colony, PS- Habra, North 24-Parganas. During investigation both the accd persons viz 1) Tarak Sarkar @ Gora Litti (40) s/o Lt Deben Sarkar of Vill- Jikra Colony PS Deganga, Dist-24-Parganas North. (2) Shyamal Sardar (30) s/o Lt Mongal Sardar of Vill- Halthuba Colony, PS- Habra, North 24-Parganas were arrested within three hours of the incident and stolen ladies hand bag was recovered. The accd persons confessed their guilt and were taken into police remand. After attending all the relevant points of investigation the case ended in Charge Sheet within 08 (eight) days vide Deganga PS CS No 717/15 dt 17/09/15 u/s 376(D)/379/411/34 IPC. The case has been taken for trial monitoring to ensure conviction of the accused persons.

2. Bagdah PS Case No. 897 dt. 16.9.2015 u/s. 376D IPC & 6 of POCSO Act (SR No. 265/15) was started on the written complaint of one Soma Majhi W/o. Subhankar Majhi of Gobindapur Baordhar PS Bagdah. I supervised the case. In this case on 15.9.2015 at about 14.15 hrs. when her husband went near the house of Ramjiban Mridha, a nextdoor neighbor to collect straw for cow then he found that one Sujit Sarkar S/o. Sarnokamal Sarkar of the same locality was committing rape upon his daughter Sayantika Majhi @ Tika, aged about 4 yrs. 5 months in the room of Ramjiban Mridha while accused Rajesh Mridha S/o. Ramjiban Mridha was guarding him. It could also be learnt that the VG went to agricultural land with her father but her father sent back his daughter with Rajesh Mridha to put his daughter in his house but said Rajesh Mridha did not comply with the order of Subhankar Majhi and took away his daughter to the house of Rajesh. During investigation 2 FIR

named accused persons were arrested, medico legal examination of both the accused persons and VG have been done. Necessary formalities regarding investigation are being taken. Charge sheet in this case has been submitted vide CS No. 1165 dt. 08.12.2015 u/s 376D IPC.

3. Deganga PS Case No-1023/15 Date-19.11.2015 U/S 376D/506 IPC & 06 POSCO Act (SR

No. 324/15) was started on the written complaint of one Tumpa Pal W/O Swapan Pal of Aminpur PO + PS- Deganga. I supervised the case. In this case since last 03/04 months her husband Swapan Pal S/O Lt. Madhusudhan Pal of Aminpur, PS- Deganga & brother in-law Ranjit Dey S/O Lt. Monoranjan Dey of Uttar Kaliyani, Thanapara, PS-Deganga committed rape on her child namely Sufala Pal (11 Yrs) D/O Swapan Pal during her absence period in her house and threatened her with dire consequences. During investigation both the FIR named accused persons were arrested. Necessary formalities with regard to investigation are being taken. Investigation is proceeding.

4. Haroa PS Case No. 240 dt. 24.7.2015 u/s. 376D/506 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act was started on

the written complaint of one Asma Bibi W/o. Sk. Abdul Jabbar of Samla PO Raikhan PS Haroa. I supervised the case. In this case on 23/24.7.2015 night when the husband of the complainant went to fishery then his wife (complainant) and her daughter was alone in her house and was sleeping in the room but at 02.00 hrs. when the complainant had opened the door for going to bathroom then the FIR named accused persons namely (i) Sahin Sk. of Samla PS Haroa (ii) Mahasin Sk. of Do (iii) Kalo Sk. of do and (iv) Ansar Sk. of do jointly restrained the complainant by showing firearms and accused Sachin Sk. committed rape upon the complainant in her room. During investigation all the FIR named accused persons were arrested, necessary legal formalities have been taken and memo of evidence has been submitted for superior’s order.

5. Madhyamgram PS Case No. 313 dt. 4.6.2015 u/s. 448/376D IPC was started on the court

complaint of one Makima Bibi W/o. Jahangir Ali of Rajbati PS Madhyamgram. In this case on the night of 27/28.5.15 at about 00.30 hrs while the complainant was sleeping at her house then 3 accused persons entered into her bedroom and forcibly committed rape upon her one by one and fled away. The complainant recognized one of the accused persons as Quash of the same locality but the 2 other accused persons are unknown. During investigation 3 accused persons were arrested and the case ended in charge-sheet vide Madhyamgram PS C.S. No. 247 dt. 11.6.2015.

6. Ashoknagar PS Case No. 493 dated 16.06.15 U/S 376(2)(i)(j)/376D/506 IPC & 6 POCSO Act (SR No.158/15) was started on the written information of Sudhanshu Das S/o Lt. Siddeswar Das of Doulatpur, P.O Sendanga, PS Ashoknagar. I supervised the case. In this case when the informant’s daughter namely Laxmi Das (aged 12 yrs) along with her friend Riya were returning after seeing a function on the night of Kali Puja then one Suman of 1 No. Doulatpur, Dipak Guha @ Pacha & Babu of 19 No. Bankpul took away the mobile’s memory card of informant’s daughter but on demand the accused persons told her to come at 19 No. Bankpul Bridge at about 01.00 hrs to collect her memory card and on the basis of their assurance said Laxmi Das and her friend Riya went to the said place at night and then the accused persons forcefully rapped her and threatened them. After few months later

informant’s daughter became pregnant. During investigation all the accused persons were arrested. Necessary efforts are being taken. The case ended in CS vide CS no. 619 dt. 31.07.2015 u/s 376D/506 IPC & 6 of POCSO Act.

7. Hasnabad PS Case No. 144 dt. 30.3.2015 u/s. 463/376(2)(i)/376D IPC & 6 of POCSO Act (SR No. 78/15) was started on the written complaint of one Fatema Bibi W/o. Rasul Ali Gazi of Chaltaberia PS Hasnabad. I supervised the case. In this case on 2.3.2015 at about 13.00 hrs. when the daughter of the complainant namely Rashida was returning to her house after doing household job in the house of one Hannan Master in the same village suddenly a maruti car came in front of her and one Obaidul Molla S/o. Tobrez Molla of Patkelpota PS Hasnabad kidnapped her forcefully and went towards Basirhat. In the maruti van said Obaidul outraged the modesty of Rashida Khatun, pressed on her breast, inserted his finger into her vagina and tried to nude her. At that time the driver and one another were present in the said maruti van who incidently covered their face. After some time Rashida told to stop the car as she want to go toilet but the accused did not agree with her. But when the driver of the car stopped the vehicle, said RAshida left the car and started running and thereafter she took shelter in a house situated under Haroa PS. Said Obaidul also followed her but after some time when he saw the huge number of people are coming, he immediately fled away. After that Rashida came back to her house with the help of local people. Later said Obaidul again came to her house and threatened her. During investigation one accused person was arrested. The case ended in charge sheet vide CS No.326 dt. 26.06.2015 u/s 363/376(2)(i)/376D IPC & 6 of POCSO Act.

8. Shasan PS Case No. 132 dt. 28.5.2015 u/s. 448/376D IPC (SR No. 137/15) was started on the writte complaint of one Mokima Bibi(21) W/o. Jahangir Ali of Rajbati Paschim Biharipara PS Madhyamgram. I supervised the case. In this case on 27.5.2015 at about 00.30 hrs. while she along with her minor child were in the house then 3 miscreants entered into her house forcibly and committed rape upon her one by one in absence of her husband and fled away. During commission of crime the complainant identified one accused person known as Quaish who is the resident of the same village and the complainant recognize other 2 accused persons but she does not know their names. During investigation 3 FIR named accused persons were arrested. The case ended in CS vide CS No. 247 dt. 11.06.2015 u/s 448/376D/506 IPC.

6. Barasat Women PS Case No. 86 dt. 26.9.13 u/s. 376(2)(f)(i)(n)(j) IPC (SR No. 266/13) was started on the written complaint of one Sumita Paul W/o. Kalachand Paul of Aswinipally Natunpally PS Barasat. I supervised the case. In this case on 26.9.13 at 11.30 hrs. one Ankita Paul (8 yrs.), daughter of the complainant was raped by her computer teacher namely Sandip Das several times for the last 8 months. During investigation FIR named accused Sandip Das was arrested on 26.9.13. The case has been ended in charge sheet within 8 days vide Barasat Women PS CS No.74 dt.04.10.2013 u/s 376(2)(f)(i)(2)(j) IPC. Due to contant monitoring during traial period the accused Sandip Das s/o Shanti Ranjan Das of Aswinipally School Road, PS- Barasat, North 24 Pgs is convicted (.) He sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a term of ten (10) years for the offence committed by the above named convict, as observed herein above, in terms with the punishment as prescribed for the offence punishable under section 376(2)(f)(n) of the Indian Penal Code and also for the offence punishable under section 6 of the Protection of children from Sexual Offence Act and also to pay fine of Rs 5,000/- (Rupees five thousand only) and in default of payment of fine, to further undergo simple imprisonment for six months (.) Jagabandhu Debnath of Paschim Kamarthuba, PS Habra, District North 24-Parganas called at the PS and submitted a written complaint to the effect that on 29.01.2009 at about 04.00 hrs. one Satya Narayan Sharma, father-in-law of Purnima Sharma (Debnath) let him know over telephone that said Purnima Sharma set fire upon her body and expired in the bath room, complainant also mentioned that on 16.02.2004 the marriage ceremony was held of Purnima Debnath (Sharma) with Subrata Sharma S/o Satya Narayan Sharma with some gift articles. But since after 2/3 months of their marriage namely (1) Subrata Sharma S/o Satya Narayan Sharma (2) Satya Narayan Sharma s/o Basanta Sharma (3) Shila Debi Sharma W/o Satya Narayan Sharma of Daharthuba, PS Habra used to torture upon her in various way even the accused persons were also pressured upon said Purnima to bring cash etc. failing which the nature of torture of accused persons became worse. On 29.01.2009 the said Purnima Debnath has expired due

to unbearable torture by the above noted accused persons after leaving her 2½ years daughter. The complainant suspecting that the accused persons murdered his daughter and thereafter they set fire upon the deceased after pouring Kerosene Oil. It is also mentioned in the FIR by the complainant that he requested to return the stridhan property.After completion of investigation IO submitted the Charge Sheet of the case vide Habra PS C.S. The Trial of the case has duly been monitoring. After completion of trial the accused person Subrata Sharma S/o Satya Narayan Sharma, of Daharthuba Sachin Kar Gupta road, PS Habra, North 24-Parganas has been sentenced to suffer imprisonment for life and to pay fine of Rs. 3000/- in default to pay fine he shall suffer imprisonment for three months more for offence u/s 302 IPC. On 03.05.2000 a specific case was started over the written complain of one Ayub Ali of Kumra Kashipore PS Habra. This refers to Habra PS Case No 167/2000 dated 03.05.2000 U/s- 363/366 IPC. Deganga, Dist-24-Pgs.North is convicted sentence to suffer for 7(seven) years regorious impresonment and to pay fine of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand) in default to further regorus impresonment for 1(one) month more. 9. Habra PS Case No 57 dated 22/01/13 U/S - 20(b) NDPS Act, & 379/411/413/414 IPC & 14(A) (b) (C) F Act, N-15/13. On 22.01.2013 on the basis of suo-moto complain of SI Arijit Bhattacharya of Habra PS to the effect that on 22/01/2013 at about 14.05 hrs received an information from his source that two persons namely (1) Sukumar Das (36) S/O Kalipada Das of vill- Goyra PO: Chandanpur, PS: Kalaroya, Dist: Satkhira, Bangladesh and (2) Gopesh Mondal (25) S/O Lt Goutam Mondal of Vill – Natungram, PS – Swarupnagar carrying Ganja and it will be handed over to someone in exchange of money. SI Prafulla Kr. Sahoo of Habra P.S. along with officers and forces had been at Chongda More under PS – Habra and managed to apprehend the said two persons. On search in presence of I/C Habra PS and local two witnesses, One white colour poli bag containing Ganja weighing Total 11.100 KGs and One Black color Discover Motor Cycle bearing number WB-26 F-1377 recovered from their possession. I directed the suspects to produce documents for possession of such Ganja but they failed to produce the same. They also could not produce any valid document for the motor cycle, riding which they came there (Discover WB-26F-1377) and the said Sukumar Das could not produce any valid passport or any visa for enter into India. On 14.03.2015 accused person Ashim Dutta, S/O – Jhantu Dutta of Helencha 05 No Colony, P.S – Bagdah convicted and sentenced to suffer imprisonment for life and to pay a fine of Rs. 10, 000/- i.d. to R.I for one year more by the Ld. 11. During the year 2015 final verdict of Basrihat case no 290/12 dated 24.04.12 u/s 376/302/201/34/109 IPC has been given. Accused Beauty Bibi has been convicted for 3.5 yrs confinement and his son S.K Badru was convicted for 25 yrs confinement by FTC- III, Basirhat Court.

22. Basirhat PS Case No.798/15. In this case the VG namely Rokjeya Khatun (15 yrs) was recovered from Central Mumbai area.

23. Basirhat PS case No.946 dt. 25.08.2015 u/s 363/366 IPC. In this case the VG namely Sanaia Khatun (9 yrs) was recovered fronm Kanpur (U.P).

• Community policing

1. An Anti Drug Rally was held on 26.06.15 organize by Barasat PS and Barasat Thana Club Sammannaya Committee to aware the common people of Barasat against the drug.

2. In

order to strengthen police public relationship, officers and force of Barasat PS worked relentlessly and organized several meetings with the clubs existing in all 35 words of Barasat Municipality and subsequently formed Barasat Thana Club Sammonoy Committee. Under the banner of the said Barasat Thana Club Sammonoy Committee, on 06.12.15 a colorful procession involving all the clubs numbering about 260 having a strength of about 5000 persons participated in the said Rally. The main message of the Rally was to aware people from the devastation of Global Warming. Awareness in respect of Traffic rules and regulation are also displayed through tablo’s. The Rally was such a big one that public opined and this may be the biggest non political Rally in recent times.

Football Tournament was organised by Ashoknagar Police Station for maintaining a good relation between Public & Police.

23.11.15 and 24.11.15 a football competition was organized by Shasan Police Station at Pakdah Night School Ground in which 8 teams participated. A large crowd of about 10,000 watched the competition and on the final day prizes were distributed in presence of huge gathering to the selected teams and players for their playing.

5. Road safety awareness program was observed on Jessore road at Hatkhola, PS Duttapukur with help of children of Adarsha School in the month of March, 2015.

6. In a bid to upkeep Police- Public relationship, promotion of a football tournament was held at the Chotojagulia play ground “SAMPRITI CUP- 2015” consisting 16 teams of different area of Duttapukur P.S. on sports activities in the village of the month of November, 2015.

7. A mass get together was arranged with orphan children on the day of ‘Bhaiphota’ to celebrate this occasion as “GANO-BHAIPHOTA” to spread the sense of brother hood at the society on 12/11/15 at 10:00 hrs. at Duttapukur Hatkhola under PS Duttapukur.

8. On 01.11.15 Deganga PS with the help of Deganga Thana Central R.G Party organized a blood donation camp at Kartickpur High School and 102 persons donated blood including the Police Personnel of Deganga PS.

9. A cardiac camp was organized for the patients related to cardiac problem on 03.11.15

by Amdanga PS at Amdanga PS compound in assistance with Narayana Multi Speciality Hospital. More than hundred patients were assembled and got treatment from highly qualified doctors. It helped immensely to communicate local people in true sense.

10. Amdanga PS had organized a prescreening camp on 15.11.15 for the patients

suffering from the problem called, cleft with a view to get them operated and to help them to smile without any problem with the help of Mission Smile, an N.G.O. of repute. Later on free operation was arranged for them. Such effort from the end of Police Administration was peerless, according to the local people. This is needless to mention that this initiative had helped a lot to build up relation with the community.

11. After all by the end of the last month a knockout football tournament among the Gram Panchayets was organized at Sadhanpur-Uludanga field under Amdanga PS. This had also left good impression in the mind of local people.

12. Bongaon PS organised Bongaon CUP Football Champianship – 2014 in the month of Feb – 2015. In this tournament 15 Club and Bongaon PS participated. On the day of Final Match eminent personality of Bongaon were also present. Bongaon PS team (Police Personnel) achive runners up Cup in the tournament.

13. In association with Boyra Gram Panchayet (on 04.12.2015) and Helencha Gram

Panchayet (on 07.08.2015) under Bagdah PS we have organized blood donation camp for social cause.

14. Samprity Cup Foot Ball tournament was organized from 14.12.2015 to 15.12.2015

involving all Gram Panchayets and Police Staffs of Bagdah P.S for community policing.

15. This year the Traditional Boat Race in Ichamoti River was resumed after more than twenty years. This endeavor of Basirhat Police Station in associates with the co-operation of administrative personalities and local people representatives assembled thousands of people near Ichamoti River.

16. This year two 16 team Knock out football tournament (Basirhat PS Sampriti Cup)

have been organized by Basirhat Police Station, one in Basirhat Block-I in the month of February-2015 another in Basirhat Block-ii in November-2015.

17. Child Line Se Dosty Programme was organized on the day of 14.11.15, World Child

Day with Cooperation of Child Line, Katiahat, PS Baduria, North 24 Pgs to enhance awareness against Child Marriage.

18. We organized different kinds of awareness by showing documentary Cinema show

acted by police officer, forces, Civic Volunteer of Habra PS at Banipur Lok Utsav from 1st Feb to 10th Feb, 2015.

19. Traffic awareness programme has been organised at different place of Habra,

Maslandapur, Gobardanga area by ‘Street Drama’ under PS Habra with the help of ‘Kao Katha’ theatre group from Kolkata.

Cup-2014-2015 & Habra Cup 2015-2016. Sixteen football team participated in each tournament. The total tournament was held in four different play ground at Habra PS area.

21. Observation of “Anti Drug Day” by organizing a rally at Habra PS area, on

26.06.2015 to aware in public the effect of addiction of drug, in this regards awareness song was sang by Nantu Kahar.

22. A programme regarding “Raksha Bandhan” has been organized at Habra PS to build up police public relation.

23. On 23rd November Deep Jwele Jai- 2015 was held duly organized by Hasnabad Thana Samannay Committee. Prizes were given to the Puja committee of Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Eid committees. The student who scores highest Nos on last Madhyamik Exam & Higher Secondary Exam. Boy and girl who proved their eligibility in sports also were honoured in the programme. The CVF & VP of Hasnabad PS were also awarded for their good work throughout the year. Lastly it ended with a cultural programme. Local M.P. Chairman, Vice- Chairman, Sabhapati of Hasnabad Panchayet Samity, Prodhan, Councilors and other dignitaries attended the programme. Thousands of local people of all the committees also enjoyed it. This programme encouraged the local people to celebrate various festivals maintaining

legal formalities, keeping peace in the locality, strengthened the relation of Police and public.

24. A football competition consisting of 16 team was organised by Hingalganj PS from

24.11.15 to 03.12.15 for the purpose of community policing in this area. Thousands of people enjoyed this football tournament. Hingalganj Sports Association wins this cup.

1. Duttapukur PS Case No. 788/15 dated 13/10/15 u/s 20(b)(ii)(C) of NDPS Act, 1985. In this case Accused Malay Dutta (38 Yrs) S/O- Lt. Mantu Dutta of Narendrapally, Gangapur PO+PS: Duttapukur, District: North 24 Parganas. was arrested and 25.3 KGs Ganja was recovered from his possession (TOP veteran rowdy of Duttapukur P.S area)

2. Duttapukur PS Case No- 897/15 Dated- 20.11.15 U/S-20(b) (ii) (C) of NDPS Act, 1985 IPC. In this case accused Biswajit Mondal @ Biswa (35) S/O-Lt-Nitya Gopal Mondal of 3no. College Para, P.S-Basirhat, Dist-North 24 Pgs. was arrested and 25.1 KGs Ganja was recovered from his possession and Rupees 1250/- was also recovered from his possession as sales proceeds. (Top ROWDY of Basirhat) (Note:- Total seized 154 KG. 900 Grams & arrested 9 accused persons)

3. Amdanga PS Case No. 406 dt. 7.11.2015 u/s. 20(b)(ii)(B) NDPS Act was started on the suo-moto complaint of SI Anil Shaw of Amdanga PS. In this case on 7.11.2015 at about 00.45 hrs. on receipt of secret source information the complainant along with force held raid and arrested one Selim Baidya of Guma Mathurapur PS Ashokenagar A/p. Bira Methopara PS Duttapukur with 20 kg. 100 grams of ganja contained in a sealed packet.

4. Amdanga PS Case No. 428 dt. 23.11.2015 u/s. 20(b)(ii)(B) NDPS Act was started on the suo-moto complaint of SI Pradip Mondal of Amdanga PS. In this case on 22.11.2015 on receipt of secret source information the complainant alongwith force held raid and arrested one Endadul Haque @ Enda of Uttar Dariapur PS Amdanga with 22 kg. 100 grams of loose dry leaf said to be ganja contained in a packet.

5. Gaighata PS Case No. 4 dt. 2.1.2015 u/s. 20(b)(ii)(C) NDPS Act was started on the suo-moto complaint of SI Arindam Mukherjee, OC, Gaighata PS. In this case on 2.1.15 at 18.25 hrs. on receipt of secret source information the complainant along with force held raid at Kalasima Bus Stand and arrested one Icha Mondal of Jayantipur PS Bongaon with 40 kgs. of ganja.

6. Ashokenagar PS Case No. 545 dt. 5.7.2015 u/s. 20(b)(ii)(C) NDPS Act was started on the suo-moto complaint of SI Abhijit Pal of Ashokenagar PS. In this case on 5.7.2015 at 01.45 hrs. on receipt of secret source information the complaiant along with force held raid at Haripur More on Habra-Naihati Jeerat Road and apprehended one SanjoyMondal of Dhaltitha PS Basirhat with 22 kgs. 100 gram of ganja.
