Bircham Windmill: Looks today as it did over 100 years ago, at that time over 300 mills ground corn for horse and cattle feed. It is considered one of the best still remaining, and is the only working windmill in the area open to the public.


Horsey windmill

Built in 1012 to pump water out from the surrounding land. It was operational until 1943 when it was struck by lightning.
