There are two venues that make up this spectacular estate; Robertson Hall for larger wedding parties, will provide a beautiful and relaxed atmosphere for your special day. Or perhaps choose Wells House itself for the more intimate affair, giving you exclusive use of the house for the day with French gold interiors, carved oak staircases and a secret library. Wells House is located just one hour from Dublin, Waterford, Kilkenny & Carlow - a great central location. Wells is not just for one day as its on-site accommodation will give you the time to enjoy its unique surroundings and create those lasting memories.

Our GardensOur gardens are seasonally planted with the most beautiful array of flowers and colours ideal for wedding photos and champagne receptions. These gardens have seen romance and love blossom for over 400 years so let’s make your day part of that story – a tale as old as time.

“We wanted something different for our day and chose to have a small ceremony and meal on the stunning terrace behind the main house. The day was exactly what we hoped for and more! Starting with a sun-soaked Champagne reception on the lawns, followed by an informal ceremony on the beautiful steps leading into the lower gardens and a wonderful meal with excellent vegetarian options after. Our table set-up on the lawn was beautiful, decorated with over-sized candelabras and flowers we chose from Wells’ gardens days before.”

The HouseWells House is open for ceremonies of up to 120 with the option to hold arrival receptions for up to 170 guests. Should you want a smaller wedding of 20 – 40 people we can offer you the full wedding experience within its walls, from the final beauty touches to your ceremony, meal and reception. If romance is your wish there really is no better place.

We at Wells wish to make the start of your married life together one of fond and unique memories. Within Wells House itself we can offer you just that with private and exclusive use of the house for your wedding day.
