Methodology: The workshop is based on the non-formal educative approach. The methologies are

based on experiential learning, learning in the group, reciprocal maieutic approach.

During the workshop the main activities developed are: group discussion, small group work, artistic

activities, simulations, activities in the community, film and documentary viewing.

All these activities are carried out in a creative, democratic and participative learning context in

which the experiences and knowledge of the learners are in the centre.

Objectives:

Human Rights: New understanding concerning the subjects of Human Rights, Non-violence and Creativity

and the relation between them;

Increase knowledge of participants about Human Rights; Increased knowledge about the situation of Human Rights protection in different countries; New capacities to resolve conflicts and to defend Human Rights in a Non-violent way; Increase understanding about the need to promote individual action in the fight for Human

Rights;

Development of values and attitudes such openness to difference, tolerance and respect fordifference.

Non-violence: Increase knowledge of participants about Non-violence; Improve the ability to solve problems and to resolve conflicts in a group; New skills in the development of activities and on its preparation and organisation; Increase knowledge about Danilo Dolci life and work; Increase knowledge about different cultures.

Creativity: Increase knowledge of participants about Creativity;

New methods that can be used to stimulate Creativity; Increase knowledge about Public and Community Art and how those can be used in order to

promote and defence Human Rights;

New methods and activities in the field of Public and Community Art that can be used toaware for Human Rights and to engage the local community in its promotion and defence;

Increases awareness about the power of arts in working with group; Increase body awareness, creativity and self-confidence and knowledge about themselves

and own capacity;

Improve non-verbal and verbal communication skills.
