Non-Verbal (non word) communication means all communication without words.
Nonverbal communication (NVC) is usually understood as the process of communication through sending and receiving wordless messages.

38% vocal (tone of voice, inflection)
AND 55% NON-VERBAL
7% of the message is verbally communicated while 93% of the message is non-verbally transmitted. Of the 93% non verbal communication, 38% is through vocal tones, 55% is through facial expressions and non-verbal acts.

There are evidence that the meaning of these expression may be similar across cultures.
EYE CONTACT
eye contact is a form of nonverbal communication and is thought to have a large influence on social behaviour.
You can read one's mind by looking at eyes.
ARMS
Folded Arms indicates a defensive position
Arms on Hips indicates anger or aggression
Arms Behind Back indicates ease and control
HANDS
Of all body parts the hands are probably used most for communicating non-verbally.
Hand waves are used for greeting, beckoning or farewells.

Visual Signals
Drum beating was used to make important announcement and to inform people to assemble at specified place. Several types of alarms signals are used to caution people. Like, Fire alarms, accident alarm, machine breakdown alarm, Buzzers, Push button bells, electronic bell and other sound signalizing system are used in the offices.
Visual signal are used to convey messages for general information and education such as Posters, Drawing, Cartoon, Photographs, Books contains maps and Diagrams. Hotels, tour and travels agencies, motor companies etc use color Photographs.
