As the name implies, Zentangles are a Zen-like way of creating images through
repetitive patterns and shapes. "ZEN" refers to a set of beliefs tied to a type
of Buddhism (Zen-Buddhism).
Zentangles are drawings composed of patterns (tangles) that can be viewed
from all four sides. Zentangles do not contain recognisable objects and there is
no “right side up”. The Zentangle method is extremely focused and mindful.
