November 17th UPDATE!
The No Frills 2013 team has been hard at work over the past month to continue our planning for the No Frills 2013 Conference. We’ve had an outstanding time working with the Regional Board of Directors to finalize the conference and utilize past conferences for areas of improvement. Through the hard work of the conference staff and the regional board of directors, we are excited to prepare an amazing No Frills Conference for the MACURH region.
We apologize for any confusion with registration and the online form. In the past couple weeks since MACURH we’ve had a few issues with technology and updating the webpage/registration form. We are excited to tell you that the form is up and running and ready to be used!

The No Frills 2013 Conference Staff is comprised of 9 students and 3 advisors. Our staff has met on a monthly basis since the start of the Fall 2012 semester at UNO. We’ve grown in excitement and anticipation of the upcoming No Frills Conference. As the MACURH 2012: MACURH the Musical
Conference has drawn closer, the conference staff has focused most of its efforts on sponsorship and budgeting. We are proud to present our finalized budget for the No Frills 2013: Where in the World is Molly the Moo Cow? Conference.

Starting November 16th, the No Frills 2013 Registration form will be unlocked for submissions. The registration page can be found at: http://www.unonofrills2013.com/registration.html. We are here to help you with any questions you may have!! You can contact our conference office at (402) 554-2240 with any concerns. We will be around the phone, but do not have set office hours at this time. We promise to contact you within at
least 48 hours of contact on weekdays. Any communication during the weekends will be returned promptly as the week begins.
We do ask for your patience in this process as the semester draws to a close and holiday break approaches. We enjoyed seeing you all at the MACURH 2012: MACURH the Musical Conference and are more excited for you to register for the No Frills 2013: Where in the World is Molly the Moo Cow? Conference! With that being said, the biggest question that
everyone will have is, “How much will this conference cost?”. Our Conference and Finance Chair have been hard at work collaborating with the MACURH Advisor, Director and ADFR to finish the budget for No Frills 2013. At MACURH 2012: MACURH the Musical the budget was finalized and the prices set. On the next page you’ll see an overview of the costs for
the conference. A full budget is available upon request.

How do I register for the No Frills 2013 Conference?

PRICING AND BUDGET!We have spent countless hours refining our budget for the No Frills 2013: Where in the World is Molly the Moo Cow? Conference over the past couple months. It is always a challenge to take the proposed expenses in the conference bid into actual contracts with each outside vendor. We’ve been fortunate to find support from businesses close to UNO’s campus that have provided us with financial benefits that have allowed us to create such an outstanding conference.
The price for the No Frills 2013: Where in the World is Molly the Moo Cow? Conference is finalized at $110 per delegate. Our break-even point for this conference is 125 attendees (including advisors). The cost for advisors for the conference are: $155 for advisors requesting a double room, and $200 for advisors requesting a single room.
At first we had to take a step back and analyze the budget to determine why our costs were so high. We noticed a couple things that eased our minds about the budget as it currently stands.
• The budget that we used for the Conference Bid was based on an incorrect break-even point. That number was not finalized or released to us until a couple months ago. The numbers we were provided with were reduced by almost 40% to the actual numbers which increased our fixed cost distribution.
• This cost is ALL INCLUSIVE!! It includes a conference t-shirt for all attendees, Breakfast & Lunch Saturday, Banquet Saturday evening, hospitality food, and more. No additional charges for parking (regardless of vehicle sizes), and the buildings are all within walking distance so there is no need for additional driving costs between buildings.
We have identified many of the areas of improvement indicated in the Wrap-Up Report from Minnesota - Twin Cities. We are using these areas as places to improve for our conference where we can and work to create the best experience possible for the MACURH Region.
