All about the food...ey MACURH! As you all know, this year’s theme for No Frills 2013 is “Where in the World is

Molly the Moo Cow?” Spoofing off the theme, we wanted to create an ‘around the world’ feel for the evening hospitality rooms. You will all have the opportunity to travel to Italy, Mexico, the Caribbean, and of course the United States to try a selection of their cuisines. Gratefully, we have had many generous donors from around the Omaha area.

Take a bite of the Italian food, pizza as well as breadsticks from Fazoli’s. Then make a stop in Mexico and get your taste buds watering after trying chips and queso from Qdoba. If you’re daring, make your way to the Caribbean islands in the deep blue sea and consume a variety of luscious fruit, pending from Bakers. Finally, cruise back to our homeland of the United States and take a bite of a variety of sandwiches from Jimmy Johns. Make your way back to the ‘Heartland,’ where No Frills 2013 is hosted, and take a slice of meat and cheese for a smaller snack provided by ASC Locker in West Point, Nebraska.

Throughout the day, snacks like popcorn, sunflower seeds, slim jims, hot chocolate, and crunch n’ munch will be

provided for a quick pick-up snack. You will never go hungry!

So get your taste buds ready for an ‘around the world’ themed hospitality room and I’ll see you at No Frills 2013: Where in the World is Molly the Moo Cow? at the University of Nebraska at Omaha!!

“Be it not in thy care. Go, I charge thee, invite them all; let in the tide Of knaves once more; my cook and I'll provide.” -William Shakespeare

Transportation, Security, Parking...Oh MY!

arking for the No Frills 2013: Where in the World is Mo!y the

Moo Cow? Conference will be free of charge. The Scott Conference Center has parking available in the lot located to the East of the Courtyard Marriott Hotel. Our campus security department has the necessary tools and skills to assist our conference guests with car trouble, should any arise. Our campus is a safe location to park your rental or school vehicles, and the close proximity of the venues means you shouldn’t need to move your vehicle throughout the entire conference.

Security The UNO Campus Security department has been informed of the increased number of guests on UNO’s

campus during the conference period. They have agreed to increase their presence in the areas specific to our No Frills conference for the security of our guests. Our goal, as a conference staff and housing department, is to keep you, our guests, safe while visiting our campus.

Transportation Institutions wishing to fly to the No Frills 2013: Where in the

World is Mo!y the Moo Cow? Conference should fly into the Omaha Eppley Airport (OMA). Once these institutions have scheduled their flights, please contact us ([email protected]) to confirm an arrival and departure time. Our conference staff will be there to pick you up from the

airport and bring you to UNO’s campus, but we need to know when we’ll be needed.

During the conference, no transportation should be necessary for conference delegates, other than if required for dinner plans on Friday evening. The hotel, conference center and Mammal Hall are within one block of each other. We are confident our delegates will enjoy the ease of travel from location to location. If certain circumstances arise that a particular delegate requires transportation assistance, our conference staff is willing to work with you to meet those accommodations to the best of our ability.

Transportation & Security Chair

Our Transportation and Security Chair, Christopher Marshall, has been hard at work this past year. He’s contacted our Campus Security office to alert them to our approaching conference. This specific endeavor has included providing our campus security department with the dates of the conference, approximate number of attendees, tentative schedule for the conference, and location of the conference events. Chris has maintained constant contact with our Campus Security office to follow-up with them as we draw closer to our conference.

Chris will be our direct contact with schools requiring transportation during the No Frills 2013: Where in the World is Mo!y the Moo Cow? Conference. He has acquired two vehicles to be used specifically for transportation of conference attendees for that weekend. If your institution is in need of transportation assistance, Chris is the guy to talk to.

Any institution looking for information regarding directions to our conference location or any attractions in the omaha area, feel free to contact our conference staff for assistance ([email protected]).
