CAMP READERS To minimize summer learning loss and to help children improve their reading skills, we’re offering an optional Camp Readers activity this year, where they read for 30 minutes each day. Multi-Sport Cooking Fun Water Nation Secret Agent Awesome Art Invention

A $25 deposit per child, per camp week and a one-time $50 nonrefundable and nontransferable materials fee is due upon registration. If registering for more than five weeks of camp, deposit per week is $5 and will be credited towards each week of attendance. The $25 deposit will be credited to each week of attendance and is nonrefundable after June 1, 2015. Cancellation must be made 2 weeks before the session date in order to avoid a service fee up to and including the cost of the camp session.

Animal Expedition Does your child love animals? Does he/she want to be a zoo keeper, veterinarian or pet owner? Campers will visit with these professionals in those areas and learn about different animals and their habitats.

Around the World Campers will experience different world cultures without leaving the Y! Children will map a course to go around the world in 80 days, and have fun while learning.

Awesome Art Campers will work in a variety of mixed media such as watercolor, clay, pencil and collage, all culminating in an art show at the end of the week.

Cooking Fun Does your child enjoy preparing food? Campers will learn the basics of cooking, kitchen cleanli-ness and kitchen safety. After this camp, you will want your child to cook your next meal!

Crazy Science Ooey, gooey, slimy and sticky! Campers explore the amazing world of science as they learn fun facts and experiment with volcanoes, silly putty, ice cream and more. It has been scientifically proven that this camp is an explosive hit!

Invention No need to ‘force’ your child into our invention camp this year! Campers will learn about the world of physics, and how it’s used to affect the world around us. Campers will build basic catapults, compete in a team-building egg drop activity, con-struct an electrical circuit, and build a robot!

Multi-Sport Camper will participate in a mix of fun sports that include soccer, baseball, basketball, volleyball and flag football.

Secret Agent Deploy on a critical mission with your fellow agent campers and support one another as you push your limits. Turn into your favorite action hero and try your hand at major motion picture stunts! Learn safe landing techniques, challenges, smoke effects and more.

Water Nation Summer is hot but Water Nation week is so cool! This specialty camp is all about water. Campers will play water games, create experiments with water. A field trip may be part of the week.

Youth on the Move Kids will focus on the basic fundamental move-ments of exercise. It will also educate children the aspects of a healthy mind, body and spirit to learn the benefits of being active, proper nutrition and creating a comfortable workout routine.
