Nitoflor ® FC110 constructive solutions Nitoflor ® FC110 Polyurethane floor coating and sealer Uses As a clear, sealing coat on cementitious floors to provide a dust proof and easily cleaned surface with resistance to penetration of oils and liquids, ideal for warehouses, garages, indoor car parks, light industries etc. Advantages Easily laid - Simple brush application Durability - Good resistance to abrasion Improves scratch resistance of the floor surface. Non-dusting- totally seals the concrete surface preventing dusting Description Nitoflor FC110 is a two part, polyurethane system. It has excellent adhesion to cementitious surfaces and when cured, forms a semigloss flexible film. It penetrates the surface to bind together the particles to produce a hardwearing and impermeable surface. It is supplied in two parts and requires mixing on site. Technical support Fosroc offers technical support service to specifiers, end users and contractors, as well as onsite technical assistance in locations all over the country. Properties Cure time Tack free 1 hour at 30 0 C. Open to light foot traffic 24 hours at 30 0 C. Full cure 7 days. Pot life Once both components are mixed, the mixed material should be used within 60 mins. at 30 0 C. Application instructions Preparation Substrate must be clean and free from all contamination and in dry condition. All loose material should be swept away and excess laitence removed by using Reebaklens, cleaning and etching agent. Surface should then be washed off thoroughly and allowed to dry completely. Coating Mix both the components as supplied in a plastic container or bucket with a paddle attached to a slow speed drilling machine. Using a soft brush, or roller apply the mixed material to the surface, until an even coverage is obtained. Two coats are normally recommended and a minimum drying time of 1 - 2 hours should be allowed between coats. On sand/cement screeds, 3 to 4 coats may be required depending on porosity. Where two or more coats are applied best results are obtained by not allowing more than 24 hours between applications. Limitations Nitoflor FC110 cannot be applied below 15 0 C or above 40 0 C. It is not recommended for applications directly exposed to sunlight. It is not suitable for applications on substrates applied with plaster of paris. Estimating Packaging and coverage Nitoflor FC110 is supplied in 1 Ltr. (component A -0.5 Ltr + component B - 0.5 Ltr) and 5 Ltr (2.5 Ltr + 2.5 Ltr) packings. Coverage of the first coat of Nitoflor FC110 on concrete depends to a great extent on surface texture and porosity. Second and subsequent coats show improved coverage. For estimation purposes, a coverage of 6 m 2 per litre, per coat can be considered. Storage Nitoflor FC110 should be stored in accordance with the statutory regulations with regard to highly flammable liquids and gases. Shelf life 6 months in unopened containers at 30 0 C.

Description
Nitoflor FC110 is a two part, polyurethane system. It hasexcellent adhesion to cementitious surfaces and when cured,forms a semigloss flexible film. It penetrates the surface tobind together the particles to produce a hardwearing andimpermeable surface. It is supplied in two parts and requiresmixing on site.

Properties
Cure timeTack free 1 hour at 300C.Open to light foot traffic 24 hours at 300C.
Full cure 7 days.

Application instructions

Precautions
Health & Safety
Gloves should be used when handling. If contact with skinoccurs, it must be washed with detergent and water. Solventshould not be used. The use of goggles is recommended.Direct contact with eyes will cause irritation and may causeserious damage if left untreated. Any eye contaminationshould be washed thoroughly with plenty of water andimmediate medical treatment sought.
Fire
Nitoflor FC110 is flammable. Adequate ventilation should beensured during application. Smoking, presence of a nakedflame is strictly prohibited.
Additional information
The Fosroc range of associated products includes highstrength cementitious grouts, epoxy grout, polyester resinbased mortar for rapid presetting of steel shims to level or fordirect bedding of small base plates; Resin anchoringsystems for same day anchoring of bolts in drilled holes inconcrete or rock. Also available a range of products for use inconstruction; viz, admixtures, curing compounds, releaseagents, flooring systems and repair mortars.
