Introduction: Nissan has many programs that we can offer to assist the customer in the purchase of a new or used vehicle. John Roberts Nissan is 45 miles from Nissan’s Smyrna assembly plant. This factory is the largest vehicle manufacturing facility in the United States with annual production of up to 640,000 vehicles. Currently it produces the Altima, Maxima, Leaf, Pathfinder, Rogue and Infiniti QX60 models. Less than 20 miles away is Nissan’s Decherd Powertrain Plant which produces high-quality engines for all Nissan and Infiniti vehicles built at Smyrna and Canton, Miss. In addition Nissan’s North American Headquarters is 60 miles away in Nashville. With over 8000 people working at Smyrna and over 1,400 employees at Dechard plus thousands of people employed by companies associated with Nissan there is tremendous potential to help Roberts Nissan grow their new Nissan business. In order to succeed we need to know everything about the various programs available in order to best serve John Roberts Nissan customers. Note: The following programs qualify for special leases and finance rates if applicable. Nissan Vehicle Purchase Program: Get insider pricing and the Nissan VIP treatment with the Nissan Vehicle Purchase Program. Eligible participants can drive away in a brand-new vehicle for a hassle-free, haggle-free, pre-negotiated price. As our exclusive customers, it’s an easy way to save on a new Nissan. The only thing to worry about is which model and color to choose! Nissan College Graduate Program: If you’ve graduated within the past 24 months or have written confirmation of upcoming graduation within the next six months, as well as proof of current or future employment that begins within 90 days, you could qualify for a major discount on your very own Nissan. Nissan Military Program: Nissan would like to thank you for your service and sacrifice for our country. As a token of our appreciation, the exclusive Nissan Military Program helps you save between $500 and $1,000 and can be combined with all current national and regional incentives. Nissan Certified Pre-owned Program: Only Nissans that meet our high standards qualify for Certified Pre-Owned status. They must be less than six years old from the original in-service date, with less than 80,000 miles on the odometer. Plus, they must have a clean, non-branded title and, most important, pass a comprehensive 167 points Certified Pre-Owned inspection.

NISSAN VPP FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How does a Customer obtain a VPP Claim Form Number? To obtain a VPP Claim Form Number, an eligible participant may go to the consumer website at www.insidenissan.com or call VPP Headquarters at 800-299-4753. After accessing the website select "Get Your VPP Claim ID". Select the appropriate company business relationship (NNA and Affiliate Company Employees; Business Associate Employees; or Dealership Employee). It is the responsibility of the dealership to verify that the proof of employment matches the company name on the Claim Form. Divisions and subsidiaries of parent companies do not automatically qualify (with the exception of NCV models).

What is the customer discount? These are the negotiated prices for VPP customers. For customers on the A, B, C, D and E Plans – Dealer Invoice minus the VPP Discount depending on model (See customer discount chart).

When a dealership participates in the VPP, it agrees to sell a qualified new vehicle to an eligible participant at a negotiated price as described in the chart below.

NISSAN VPP PRICING PLANS Effective 4/2/2019

What is the difference between an NNA Affiliate and a Business Associate Company? An NNA Affiliate Company is a company owned by Nissan (ex: Auto Chassis International, Nissan Finance of America, and JATCO USA, Inc).

A Business Associate (D Plan) is a company that provides a current product or service (a vendor) to NNA, but is not owned by Nissan.

Can a Dealership Employee participate in the VPP? Yes. Direct, full-time Employees of authorized Nissan and Infiniti dealerships and immediate household family members. Employees of an auto group are eligible for the E plan only if they work for the Nissan or Infiniti dealership within the operation. Dealership retirees are not eligible for this program.

Can an Infiniti Dealership Employee purchase a Nissan vehicle under the E Plan? Yes, an Infiniti dealership employee may purchase a Nissan under VPP and vice versa.

What do the different Plans/Letters mean? NNA has set up five plans for the vehicle purchase program. The letter designates the relationship the person has to NNA.

A Plan = NNA Employees, Retirees, and their Immediate Household Family members – Direct, Full time employee, Spouse/Domestic Partner*, Parents, Spouse/Domestic Partner's parents, Children (including sons – and daughters-in-law and stepchildren), and Siblings (including brothers- and sisters-in-law, half-brothers and sisters, stepbrothers and sisters). The employee may issue twelve (12) Claim Forms per calendar year. Any or all of the twelve (12) purchases may be made by the employee, immediate household family or extended family members and friends. A Plan purchases are for personal use only (with the exception of NCV models).

B Plan = Affiliate Company Employee, Retirees, and their Immediate Household Family Members - Direct, Full time Affiliate Company Employee, Spouse/Domestic Partner*, Parents, Spouse/Domestic Partner's parents, Children (including sons – and daughters-in-law and stepchildren), and Siblings (including brothers- and sisters-in-law, half-brothers and sisters, stepbrothers and sisters). The employee may issue twelve (12) Claim Forms per calendar year. Any or all of the twelve (12) purchases may be made by the employee, immediate household family or extended family members and friends. B Plan purchases are for personal use only and (with the exception of NCV models).

C Plan = Extended Family (grandparent, aunt, uncle, and cousin) and Friends of NNA and Affiliate Company Employees only. Two vehicles may be purchased by the same purchaser per calendar year. C Plan purchases are for personal use only (with the exception of NCV models).

D Plan = Business Associate Company Employee and Spouse/Domestic Partner only – Direct, Full time Business Associate Company employees. The employee may purchase two vehicles per calendar year. Claims may go into a Business Associate Company name. The company may purchase four vehicles in the company name per calendar year. This claim cannot be used by retirees, or given to family members of Business Associate Company employees. D Plan purchases cannot go into another business name besides the Business Associate Company name (with the exception of NCV models).

E Plan = Nissan and Infiniti Dealership Employees, Spouse/Domestic Partner and Immediate Household Family Member - Direct, Full time Dealership employee, Spouse/Domestic Partner, and Immediate Household Family Members. The Employee, Spouse/Domestic Partner, and Immediate Household Family Member may purchase four vehicles per calendar year. E Plan purchases cannot go into another business name besides the Dealership name (with the exception of NCV models).

Can a Customer lease a vehicle through the VPP? Yes, if a Customer leases through NMAC or IFS, a special lease incentive may apply (refer to dealer bulletins). A legible copy of the lease agreement must be submitted with the completed Claim Form along with the other supporting documents listed on the claim form within 30 days of purchase date.

What if a Customer requires a Trade-In Over allowance, has Negative Equity in a Trade, or is Responsible for a Lease Pay-Off? The over allowance or the amount the customer owes may not be included in the purchase price indicated on the VPP Claim Form. However, in states where permitted, this amount may be included in the retail installment contract or lease, so long as separately disclosed in accordance with state and federal law. This over allowance amount should be entered at the indicated location on the claim form.

What if a Customer wants to buy a Service Contract or Dealer-Installed accessories? Does a VPP discount apply? The VPP discount only applies to the purchase price of the vehicle and does not discount the price of Sec+ or Dealer installed accessories.

VPP Proof of Eligibility Requirements Summary

The presentation of a VPP Claim ID on its own from the customer to a dealer does not always constitute eligibility of NNA’s Vehicle Purchase Program (VPP). Below is a summary of the current VPP Plans, and what supporting documentation is required in conjunction with a VPP Claim ID to verify a customer’s eligibility (Proof of Eligibility – “POE”). This summary is to be used as a quick resource only. For complete program details, please refer to the NNA Vehicle Purchase Program Administration Guide.

VPP Plans

ØNNA & Nissan Affiliate Co. Employees

NNA Employees - No Proof of Eligibility is required after a valid NNA Employee ID has been entered into the VPP website to generate a claim. NNA Employee must generate claim on customer’s behalf

Affiliate Company Employees - A copy of the NNA Affiliate employee’s recent paystub with amounts and confidential information redacted, company issued badge, or a dated letter from the company’s Human Resources office along with contact information and verification of employment will also be accepted.

Ø NNA Friends & Family

•No Proof of Eligibility is required from an NNA Employee family member or friend after a sponsoring NNA employee enters a valid NNA Employee ID into the VPP website to generate a VPP claim for the intended recipient. NNA Employee must generate claim on customer’s behalf.

Ø Dealership Employees

•A copy of the dealership employee’s recent paystub with amounts and confidential information redacted, or a dated letter from the dealership along with contact information and verification of employment will also be accepted. Dealer Employees can only offer VPP to immediate family members within their same household address.

Ø Business Associate Co. Employees

•A copy of the employee’s recent paystub with amounts and confidential information redacted, company issued badge, or a dated letter from the company’s Human Resources office along with contact information and verification of employment will also be accepted.

NOTE: An employee business card is not considered an acceptable form of “Proof of Eligibility” for any of the above VPP Plans.

All VPP participants must reside in the continental United States, Hawaii, or Alaska, and provide a valid US driver’s license. Photocopies of required documents must be legible, and clearly verify customer’s eligibility. Any submitted documentation that does not meet this requirement will be returned to the dealer for resubmission.
