Separate sealed quotations, superscribed with the name of work on the envelope, are invited by the Executive Engineer, Murshidabad Electrical Division, PWD, 184, C.R.Das Road, Berhampore, Murshidabad, PIN-742101, for the work “S & Installation of AC Machines at proposed Upcoming SARI ward at 1st floor of Main Building of MMC & H, N.G. Campus on urgent basis for management of COVID Pandemic situation & allied works.” from reputed, resourceful Contractors/Agencies and having enough financial capabilities/ adequate experience. Intending Quotationers must submit sealed quotation together with documentary evidence in support of their experience and competency to execute such type of works incl. self-attested photocopy of Valid PAN, GST, PT Challan (for current FY), Trade License etc. Agencies with previous record of having been imposed penalty under one or more penal contractual clause/s will not be allowed to participate. Any conditional offer and or Quotation offered with price variation clause will not be accepted. The rates should be quoted in words as well as in figure, inclusive all applicable taxes and duties. The total rate quoted for the work as a whole is the criteria for selection. Intending Quotationers may download necessary documents for participating in Tender / Quotation from the website of PWD i.e. http://www.pwdwb.in or may be collected from the above office during working hours on week days and may submit in tender box (kept in the office of the undersigned) after taking permission from the undersigned. No tender / quotation paper will be issued on the due date for opening. Bill(s) are to be submitted/placed to the concerned Junior Engineer, in appropriate prevailing printed form in quadruplicate. The payment will be made as per PWD norms and when fund will be available from the concerned source. No claim, whatsoever, for delay in payment, if any, will be entertained. Contractors are requested to quote their rates accordingly. Stipulated period for the work is 3 (Three) Days from the date of Order/Layout. Successful Quotationer shall have to execute agreement in appropriate Government Forms (4 sets) along with work schedule (2 sets) (to be purchased as per Govt. rates) for final acceptance of his offer and issuance of work order. Successful Quotationer, must have to deposit Earnest Money @ 2% of their total quoted value in the form of Bank Draft drawn on any Nationalised Bank/RBI Listed bank in favour of the Executive Engineer, Murshidabad Electrical Division, PWD. Payable at Berhampore. Acceptance of lowest or any quotation is not obligatory. The accepting authority reserves the right to reject any or all quotations without assigning any reason thereto.

This notice inviting quotation shall be deemed to be part and parcel of the contract if and when awarded. Labour Welfare Cess @1% to be deducted from bill value. The tender/quotation will be received up to 11.30 A.M. on 01/09/2020 & will be opened thereafter in presence of the tenderers willing to present during Opening. In case of any non-scheduled holiday (Bandh / Strike) on any of the aforesaid dates, the next working date will be treated as schedule date for the purpose.
