CSIR - Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad IICT provides an exciting range of scientific capabilities, which are of multi-disciplinary and unique in nature. Broadly, the groups are Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Engineering and Information Technology. IICT provides a strong combination of problem solving tools in unraveling intricacies of chemical entitites. The current R&D programme of IICT includes discovery of new drugs. IICT is focusing on other interdisciplinary areas like supra molecular chemistry, peptidomimetics, novel drug delivery systems, nano-technologies, fluoro organic synthesis and molecular modeling & drug design. The research team of IICT translates innovative processes into commercial technologies. IICT acquired state-of-art equipment for various disciplines and related infrastructure facilities. IICT has a proven record in drugs and pharmaceuticals, agro chemicals, lipids, bulk organic intermediates, downstream processes, surface coatings, gas based technologies and allied fields. The analytical services of IICT are accredited by TUV, Germany for ISO-9001. IICT is looking forward to act as the major player in global scenario. NIPER - Hyderabad has conducted 2 nd Convocation on 11 th July, 2012 for 2009 - 11 and 2010 - 12 batches. Dr VM Katoch, DG, ICMR was the Guest-in-Chief.
