Active D-Lighting (ADL)This realizes optimal contrast over the entire photo by localizing tone control, resulting in

ADL settings are None, Weak, Normal, Strong, Stronger, and Auto (default).

AF-A (Auto-servo AF) (Default setting)- Automatically switches between AF-S & AF-C
- AF-S is selected when subject is judged to be stationary
- AF-C is selected when subject is judged to be moving
AF-S (Single-servo AF)- For stationary subjects- Focus locks when shutter-release button is pressed halfway
AF-C (Continuous-servo AF)
