Accelerated English LearningThe Coaching

Our highly qualified native-level English language teachers use a sports and football focused curriculum to keep students engaged. Students benefit from 25 hours of English, which is taught using a model similar to the CLIL approach used in top schools worldwide. The average class size is 12.

Did you know…The focus on communication in our advanced classes’ project work helps students prepare for exams such as IGCE, IELTS, Trinity, Cambridge, ESB, GESE and CAE.

At the start of the camp, students will take a short language test, which is used to place them in an appropriate class. Throughout the camp, English lessons are supported by a fully immersive language experience, with all activities delivered in English.

Students will participate in 3 classroom based workshops, conducted in English by Brighton & Hove Albion FC coaches.

At the end of the camp, every student will receive an individual written assessment from their teacher with advice on how to further develop their language skills.

Project workStudents will put their classroom learning into context with a team project, such as a camp magazine. Students will practise communication, reading and writing skills with tasks such as:

• Interviewing players and coaches to create profiles• Producing diary extracts and articles• Researching sport-related media articles
