Pink Friday

This is the front cover of Nicki

Minaj’s Deluxe Edition of Pink

Friday. The colour of pink is

normally associated with Nicki

Minaj, this helps the audience

to identify her easily. There is

also emphasis on the word

“pink”, this allows again for it to

be eye-catching. It also puts

bigger emphasis on the word

“pink.”, which of course is part

of the title of the CD. The

image of Nicki Minaj is in the

middle of the cover. This is

eye-catching and easy to see.

The pink colour once again

features as her hair colour, this

allows her fans to see her as

they know her. There is a

parental advisory certificate on

the front, this warns the user

that there is content that

perhaps isn’t suitable for

minors.

This is the back cover of Nicki

Minaj’s Pink Friday. The track

names are in block capitals in

white. The light-pink background

allow the white text to be read

easily without difficult, this helps

those who are looking for

particular things on a CD. In the

bottom left there are the credits.

The record label Cash Money is

featured, the logo is also there. As

well as that there are some of the

normal notices such as copyright.

There is a long shot of Nicki Minaj

striking a pose. She dominates the

back cover, this reminds the

consumer that it is her CD. She

has an extravagant

costume, something that has

become almost synonymous with

Nicki. She is also in a similar

costume to the first one, this

allows continuity.

This is the actual CD of

the digipak. The artists

name is emphasised in

big writing, this catches

the attention of the

consumer. The word

“pink” is also emphasised

in this, the colour pink is

the main colour

throughout the digipak.

Again there is a picture of

the artist, this keeps a

consistent approach to

each part of the digipak.

Again the record label

“Cash Money” is featured.

As there was on the back

of the digipak, there is a

copyright warning.
