Continuing with engineering worked as a chemical loss control consultant at Industrial Risk Insurers in Pittsburgh, PA; progressing to supervisor of field services western PA then account coordinator in Philadelphia. Transitioning to underwriting, worked as an HPR underwriter for Kemper in Philadelphia then pollution liability underwriter for Kemper Environmental in Princeton, NJ, before joining Zurich as a property underwriting specialist for Global Corporate, to re-start the property operation in the Mid-Atlantic. Moved over to commercial markets taking on various roles; National Product Line Manager to develop environmental property; Integral member of Chicago team to launch the Real Estate Vertical; Executive Package Underwriter in Parsippany NJ while also serving as NE Real Estate Practice Leader. Current role is Property Director for East Region managing a $189 million property book for commercial insurance, holding position since March 2011.
