Germany’s Merck Invests In Sol-GelSol-Gel has developed a technique that uses glass to create a sunscreen lotion. The tiny glass spheres contain chemicals that absorb dangerous ultraviolet (UV) radiation, causing less damage to the skin than with existing products.
