Disability Income: Most Important of All?People purchase life insurance, but no one thinks about what would happen if they were disabled - even though disability is far more likely than death during their working years. We think ‘that won’t happen to me’ because it is uncomfortable to think about accidents or illness. ‘But disability coverage is expensive,’ you say. Yet, if you can’t afford the insurance coverage, imagine how difficult it would be to live with out your entire income. It’s time to address this reality with your clients.

Umbrella for Everyone, Rain or Shine? What is a personal umbrella policy? Does everyone need one? If you already insure your home and your autos, where do you draw the line? What does an umbrella policy usually cost? Does it protect all of your assets? What does it protect and against what? Where do you buy one? Can you compare costs? Does it cover the whole family? Does it cover for business related issues too, or is that another policy? Everyone is saying something is new and changing in these policies, so what was the before and what’s new now? Do we have choices? The ‘tell me everything I need to know’ 3-hour version.
