HOW THE NIBE™ VVM 310 WORKS

VVM 310 is designed for connection and communication with NIBE's air/water heat pumps. NIBE's air/water heat pumps to-gether with VVM 310 make up a complete heating installation and cover the majority of the heating and hot water demand. If the outdoor temperature drops to a level below the stop tem-perature of the heat pump all heating then occurs with VVM 310.

Together with F2030, buildings with a heating requirement of 15 kW in climates with DUT hotter than -25°C can be satis-fied. With lesser heating requirements, use system F2040. NIBE's VPDIM dimensioning program is recommended for correct di-mensioning of the building's heating output requirements and climate. Hot water capacity is dependent on selected outdoor

module and whether addition is permitted. For example for sys-tem F2030-VVM310 tap volume 240 litres (40 °C) at 12 l/min applies when the tank is charged at only F2030.

When combined with an outdoor pool used in the summer sea-son, system F2030-VVM 310 does not usually need to be dimen-sioned up with regard to the size of the outdoor section. This is because the building's heating requirement is less in the summer time and F2030's output and efficiency increases with warmer outdoor temperatures. A system with VVM 310 and NIBE's air/water heat pumps gives full flexibility. Even if pool heating or other external heat sources were not included at installation, VVM 310 is prepared when that is required.

normal: Normal mode gives a larger amount of hot water and is suitable for most households.

luxury: Lux mode gives the greatest possible amount of hot wa-ter. In this mode, the immersion heater, as well as the compressor, is used to heat hot water, which may increase operating costs.

F2040 requires additional heat (internal or external) to reach Lux-ury.

In most cases, F2300 reaches all three settings (including Lux), with just a compressor.
