2 stage process6K is applied in two easy colour coded stages, Pre-Clean (or Deep-Clean for Sandblasted Glass) is applied to ensure an ideal clean surface in preparation for 6K Protect application. 6K Protect is effortlessly applied using 2 – 3 trigger sprays per 0.25m2 and is easily polished into the surface until clear. Immediately after the application of 6K Protect, the nanoparticles form a strong bond with the surface in a natural chemical reaction.

Non irritant6K won’t cause irritation, it’s a natural silica dioxide based solution. Silica dioxide is most commonly found in nature as sand or quartz and not to be confused with the synthetic polymer silicone.

UV stable for long life6K provides longevity; unlike other coatings it’s UV stability enables functionality for many years.

Large coverage6K provides great value for money. A 1 Litre bottle will cover approximately 100m2, giving between two and four times the coverage of alternative synthetic polymer silicones, depending on the product compared against.

Abrasion resistant6K creates a permanent chemical bond with the substrate and enables excellent abrasion resistance; synthetic polymer silicone can be easily removed by abrasion. 6K provides chemical stability and is resistant to almost all standard household and industrial cleaners (with the exception of alkali).

Hydrophobic protection6K uses Nano technology and provides a hydrophobic, water repellent Nano coating, the hydro and oleo phobic effects makes it difficult for particles of contamination such as grease and dirt to adhere and allows them to be easily removed.

6K isn’t like other glass coatings. The 6K surface protection system is specifically designed to protect both Glass and Stainless Steel using Nano technology to provide a hydrophobic, water repellent coating. The hydro- and oleo phobic effects makes it difficult for particles of contamination such as grease and dirt to adhere and allows them to be easily removed, without applying abrasive agents - giving the ‘Easy-clean’ effect.

Easily applied in two stages, 6K also provides great value for money. 6K Glass & Stainless Steel

1. Preparation of surface with CRL6K Pre-clean

Make sure all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned using a non silicone based

cleaner. Spray the dry surface with CRL6K Pre-clean and rub the product into

the surface with the pre-cleaning cloth (red). Due to the rapid evaporation of

the ethanol divide larger areas into sections for treatment of about 0.25m2. The

surface is ready when no more streak formation is evident.

2. Coating with CRL6K Protect

After pre-cleaning with CRL6K Pre-clean, spray CRL6K Protect onto the

surface and spread around with the coating cloth (blue).

When applying the CRL6K protection, treat only small surface areas at a

time, using 2 trigger sprays per 0.25 mtrs/sq and polish the product into the

surface until clear. It is important to cover the full surface area but do not apply

excessively, ensuring all of the coating is polished onto the surface using the

6K cloth (blue).

If residues are still apparent, repeat the process.

At least 24 hours after application, if a glass cleaner is to be used on the

surface, a non silicone or detergent based cleaner must be used.

CRL AC6050 Cleaner is recommended.

Reaction Time and Quality Control

Immediately after the application of CRL6K Protect, the nanoparticles form a

strong bond with the surface in a chemical reaction. After only a few minutes

the water spray test will show good droplet formation. After about 24 hours (at

20˚C) the reaction is completed and the coating is fully durable. Even before

completion of the reaction CRL6K Protect can be touched and can come into

contact with moisture immediately after coating.

Do not apply adhesive labels until after the 24hr (at 20˚C) curing period.

Note: Wash application cloths separately after each use – Hot washing

recommended after 30m2 coverage!

Attention! When using these products all safety instructions from the data

specifications or manufacturers instructions for product use must be observed.

6K Sandblasted Glass

1. Preparation of surface with CRL6K Sandblast Deep Clean

Prepare sandblasted glass for coating by ensuring removal of all residue dust

from the surface by either blasting with compressed air, or passing through

automated washer if appropriate. Spray surface with CRL6K Sandblast

Deep Clean, using a CRL6K Sandblast Deep Clean cloth (Yellow, CAT.NO.

6KSBDCLOTH) wipe in one direction to ensure any dust residue is not left on

surface, and turn cloth regularly.

2. Coating with CRL6K Sandblast Protect

Lightly cover glass with CRL6K Sandblast Protect and immediately work

the product into the surface with circular motions using a CRL6K Sandblast

Protect cloth (Green, CAT.NO. 6KSBPCLOTH). When applying the CRL6K

Sandblast Protect, treat only small surface areas at a time, using 2-3 trigger

sprays per 0.25 mtrs/sq and polish the product into the surface to achieve

an even coverage. It is important to cover the full surface area but do not

apply excessively, ensuring all of the coating is polished onto the surface. If

residues are still apparent, repeat the process.

Finger prints, dust and stress from heavy abrasion and

strong chemicals should be avoided until 24 hours after

the application. At least 24 hours after application, if a glass cleaner is to

be used on the surface, a non silicone or detergent based cleaner must be

used. CRL AC6050 Cleaner is recommended.
