Broadsheets

Page 3: Newspaper

The layout of The Sun which is a Broadsheet is very organized, put together and serious.

It doesn’t have the joke in the headline as the Tabloids would have.

There aren’t many pictures on the front page but the pictures that are on the page are small but they are in some way effective, unlike the tabloids which

have a funny side to the picture.

The quality of the language is very thought about along with the font which is suitable for each of the

background.

When it comes to the difference between a tabloids and a broadsheets.

-Broadsheets are more serious and have less pictures.

-Tabloids have more of a joke to things and has more pictures.

Page 5: Newspaper

The way you can tell a newspaper is a tabloid is that they have a smaller format spread, and

focuses more on entertainment, local news stories in different areas of the country unlike

broadsheets which focuses more on politics, royal proclamations, acts, official notices around the

country and around the world and the economy.

The font sizes on a tabloid are all different sizes to make it more upbeat. With each of the main stories that are being headlined, they have a

certain picture which has been chosen with the story, and the size has been made suitable due to

the size of the story on the front page.

With the font it is all the same, because if it were to different it would be to much for the reader to

handle. The quality of the language is a very ‘go with the flow’ type writing, which the people want

to read about.
