CSM supplies bakery fats to the bakery markets in Belgium, Netherlands and France. The acquired business had revenues of approxi- mately SEK 970 million (US$147 million) in 2013. The business provides a variety of bakery fat solutions, margarines and pumpable shortenings. The acquisition includes the factory in Merksem, Belgium, their sales force, application specialists and a bakery innovation center. AAK produces vegetable oils and fats. AAK’s solutions are used as substitutes for butter fat and cocoa butter. These include trans-free and low-saturated solutions. AAK has pro- duction facilities in Denmark, Mexico, Netherlands, Sweden, Great Britain, Uruguay and the United States. TNA’s central Europe facility is equipped with a solar power plant. Takasago hires Dunn Takasago International Corp. (USA) flavor division has announced that Amanda Carey Dunn has been named Takasago Flavors’ sales and marketing manager for the Mint and Sensates Group. Most recently Dunn has been senior regional category manager in oral care at Firmenich, after roles at Noville, Inc., as senior flavor technologist.
