9th March 2012 saw the Health, Safety and Environment Conference at Petro Hotel in Vung Tau

City. Such conference was organized by Vietnam Oil & Gas Group (PVN) with the aim of access-

ing and evaluating the performance of Health, Safety and Environment work in 2011 as well as

drafting action plans for 2012. This is a precious opportunity for exchanging know-how and experi-

ence amongst those companies operating in oil and gas industry in Vietnam. Delightfully at the

conference did PTSC M&C present the efficiency and effectiveness of a systematic technique

named Hazop in indentifying potential hazards in a system and operability problems likely to result

in nonconforming products.

Having attended the conference were there Dr. Do Van Hau – CEO and President of PVN, Mr.

Nguyen Vu Truong Son – Vice President of PVN,

representatives of Vietnamese Ministry of Industry

and Trade, Ministry of Natural Resources and Envi-

ronment, Ministry of Public and Security, Ministry of

Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and leadership of

joint venture companies, contractors, operators, and

more than 200 delegators specialized in Health, Safety

and Environment of PVN and across its subsidiaries.

At the conference, PTSC M&C was proudly awarded

by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and PVN for

the achievement of 7 million man-hours without any

lost time injury and having brilliantly performed

Health, Safety and Environment work in 2011.
