Dear Families, Naonal Ride to School Day Students are encouraged to ride, walk, scoot or skate to school tomorrow and join in the fun of Naonal Ride to School Day. Students will have the opportunity to ride their bikes at lunch me on the oval or scoot on the basketball court. Cluster Athlecs Sports Yr 3-6 Next Friday is the annual athlecs carnival for Year 3-6 students in Mt Beauty. Students have been pracsing all the event on Thursday aſternoons in the yY2-6 combined sports sessions. Year 5/6 Canberra Camp (1-3 May) Full informaon regarding camp will be distributed next Thursday, once it has been passed by School Council. A $100 deposit will be required before the end of term. This is a combined camp with Dederang and Mt Beauty PS students which has been kindly organised by the staff at Mt Beauty. Personal Goods Bought to School Personal property is oſten brought to school by students, parents and visitors. This can include phones, toys, instruments and sporng equipment. The Department of Educaon does not hold insurance for such items and it has no capacity to pay for any loss or damage to such property. Students should be discouraged from bringing any unnecessary or valuable items to school. Crazy Hair Day Becky Winfield would like to thank families for their donaon last week towards the Leukaemia foundaons Worlds Greatest Shave fundraiser. Becky will be shaving her hair this weekend. A total of $317.40 was raised with a large donaon made by the Angelini family in memory of Erins father. Medicaon Teachers and schools are oſten asked by parents to administer medicaon for their children while at school. It is important that such requests are managed in a manner that is appropriate, ensures the safety of students, and fulfils the duty of care of staff. All parent requests for the Principal to administer prescribed medicaons to their child must be in wring on the form provided and must be supported by specific wrien instrucon from the medical praconer or pharmacists including the name of the student, dosage and me to be administered (original medicaons bole or container should provide this informaon). National Ride to School Day

Students are encouraged to ride walk scoot or

skate to school tomorrow and join in the fun of

National Ride to School Day Students will have the

opportunity to ride their bikes at lunch time on the

oval or scoot on the basketball court

Cluster Athletics Sports Yr 3-6

Next Friday is the annual athletics carnival for Year

3-6 students in Mt Beauty Students have been

practising all the event on Thursday afternoons in

the yY2-6 combined sports sessions

Year 56 Canberra Camp (1-3 May)

Full information regarding camp will be distributed

next Thursday once it has been passed by School

Council A $100 deposit will be required before the

end of term This is a combined camp with

Dederang and Mt Beauty PS students which has

been kindly organised by the staff at Mt Beauty

Personal Goods Bought to School

Personal property is often brought to school by

students parents and visitors This can include

phones toys instruments and sporting equipment

The Department of Education does not hold

insurance for such items and it has no capacity to

pay for any loss or damage to such property

Students should be discouraged from bringing any

Crazy Hair Day

Becky Winfield would like to thank families for

their donation last week towards the

Leukaemia foundations Worldrsquos Greatest Shave

fundraiser Becky will be shaving her hair this

weekend A total of $31740 was raised with a

large donation made by the Angelini family in

memory of Erinrsquos father

Medication

Teachers and schools are often asked by

parents to administer medication for their

children while at school It is important that

such requests are managed in a manner that is

appropriate ensures the safety of students

and fulfils the duty of care of staff

All parent requests for the Principal to

administer prescribed medications to their

child must be in writing on the form provided

and must be supported by specific written

instruction from the medical practitioner or

pharmacistrsquos including the name of the

student dosage and time to be administered

The cooks were busy in the kitchen today making zucchini slice this will require a lot of grating and chopping skills The sewing

group are working on sewing the straps for their boomerang bags building on the skills they have been learning on the sewing ma-

chine over the past few weeks The gardening group are busy cleaning up the vegetable garden now that the vegetables are finished

growing

Friday 24th March - Time 915am - 230pm - Year 3-6

On Friday 24th March Year 3 to 6 students will be a part of the combined schoolrsquos athletic carnival at the Les Peart

Oval in Mt Beauty Primary school students from Dederang to Falls Creek will enjoy a day of activity where the

emphasis is more on participation than competition All students in years 3 to 6 will be competing within their house

teams

Arrangements for transport will be exactly the same as for the swimming sports earlier this term bus students can stay on the buses until they arrive at Mt Beauty where they will be met by a teacher All other students need to be taken by parents directly to the oval Children not picked up by parents by 3pm will be brought back to Tawonga on the school buses arriving about 340pm and then placed into OSHC Children are asked to dress in house colours as this adds to the fun and the atmosphere on the day

All students will need a hat lunch a water bottle suitable shoes and a jumper in case itrsquos cool The day is likely to finish early Pick up by parents will be permitted at the conclusion of the sports Parents and carers are most welcome to come along on the day to cheer and support students

If any parents or carers are available to help time keep marshal record or run an event on the day please

(second last day of term) with money and tickets enclosed in the bags provided

Tickets are $1 each and extra books are available from the office

chael Skinner The Clinic starts at 10am sharp and is fully su-

pervised

Each day will be followed by a sausage sizzle and presentation

of awards for skills exhibited and for encouragement for use

of knowledge gained in the Clinic
