Singapore Water Association Golf @ SIWW 2016Held in conjunction with the Singapore International Water Week, the SWA Golf Tournament returned on 10 July 2016 at Singapore Island Country Club as the perfect social gathering for business networking with high-level government officials, heads of industry and opinion makers in the water business worldwide.

Graced by Mr Masagos Zulkifli, Minister for the Environment & Water Resources, the SWA Golf welcomed distinguished guests, including H.E. Cham Prasidh, Senior Minister for Cambodian Minister of Industry and Handicrafts, and H.E. Haji Bahrin bin Abdullah, Minister of Development of Brunei, together with 100 SWA members and SIWW delegates who have since forged new connections and partnerships, that sent the ball soaring for the future of Singapore’s water journey.

Members of SWA continued to have a strong presence at the seventh Singapore International Water Week (SIWW), which cemented its niche as the global platform to co-create and share innovative solutions from 10 to 14 July 2016 at Marina Bay Sands Singapore. As a gateway to Asia, City Solutions Singapore brought together buyers and sellers in Asia's biggest marketplace for sustainable urban solutions with over 1,000 exhibitors and 31,000 sqm of expo space. SWA organised the Singapore pavilion which comprised 35 exhibitors and occupied near 670 sqm at the expo.

During the week, SWA inked two MOUs with Malaysian Water Association and SEAWUN to create more cooperation activities for the mutual benefits of the two associations on 12 July. The Presidents and representatives of international water associations also joined us to witness this celebrated moment. On the same day, SWA organised the SWA Industry-to-Industry Networking Session to announce the formation of the SWA Young Water Professional Group.
