Chair’s Corner

Time is running fast. The next GSA meeting Denver, CO, is already coming up! Please note that abstract submission is open. This year our division is sponsoring 17 Topical Sessions. Highlight of our program will be the Pardee Keynote Symposium in honor of the 50th Anniversary of NASA Exobiology chaired by Jack Farmer.

We will award prizes to the best student posters presented at the meeting in Denver. Please step forward to volunteer as judge for this delightful job. Just drop me a note by e-mail.

It is my pleasure to announce that our new Gordon Research Conference “Geobiology” has started out very well. See inside this volume for more details.

I also would like to draw your attention to the SEPM Field Conference Microbial Mats in Sandy Deposits from the Archean to Today; May 20th to 23rd, Denver, Colorado.
