‘Manage stress, otherwise stress will manage you.’

We experience stress if we believe that we don't

have the time, resources, or knowledge to handle

a situation. In short, we experience stress when

we feel "out of control." Someone has rightly said:

“Worry less, limit stress”. Different people handle

stress differently, in different situations. One can

handle stress better if one is confident in his

abilities.

Consider using some of the approaches below to

manage stress:

-Manage your time well.

-Use techniques like meditation, yoga and physical

relaxation to calm yourself when you feel

stressed.

-Take advantage of your friends and family,

counselors or family doctors.

-Get enough exercise like walking, running,

swimming, dancing, aerobics and good sleep.

-Learn how to cope with change and build

resilience.

-Eat a healthy diet which boosts your energy,

improves your outlook, and stabilizes your mood.

Behind Every Success there is a Struggle

‘The fragrance of success can never be smelled until you are pricked by the thorns of struggle’ It is rightly said ‘Struggle is the path to success.’ Without struggle, achieving success is not worth. Success is not just about achieving your goal but it is about conquering the difficulties and problems you face during the struggle. The happiness we get after struggling hard and then achieving our goal is priceless and is incomparable. Thomas Elva Edison, one of the greatest scientists also faced a lot of hardships during the making of electric bulb. He attempted thousands of times but the result each time was a failure. However, with strong willpower he continued trying till he finally succeeded to get tungsten as the filament of the electric bulb. Struggle plays a very important in life. Without difficulties we would never know the value of success. So, remember during the struggles in life, success waits ahead.

Responsibility

Your Life is Your Responsibility

Responsibility is doing our share and carrying our duties with integrity. When one is responsible, there is a contentment of having made a contribution. Responsibility is a contraction of words ‘response’ and ‘ability’. It is basically using our resources and efforts to generate a positive change. Successful people commit to take responsibility for themselves and their success. When we take the ownership of the decisions we take in life, we become powerful in the eyes of others. It also earns us their trust and breeds opportunities. So, we must accept the responsibility of our life and realize that it is just us, who will get us wherever we want to go and no one else. Our life is certainly our responsibility and nobody else’s.

Ms. Madhvi Ektare

Mother of Hridayaa Ektare

Class: Senior Montessori G

Power is Responsibility

Take the responsibility of your actions; be accountable for the results and take the ownership of your responsibility. Once, I started thinking what does the term responsibility really mean? “Power is responsibility” replied my soul. It is agreeable to those who accept it with open arms but hostile to the rest. A person who demands his rights is both morally and intellectually obliged to be responsible for the actions that he performs. We must also quintessentially understand that we might not be able to manipulate the results of our actions and in such a course, we are liable to take responsibility for the same. Though the term responsibility might sound tiresome, it is essential to preserve the essence of humanity and intellect.

Ms. Meghna Jain Teacher Senior Montessori

Sharing Responsibility

‘We become wise not by the recollection of our past, but by the responsibility of our future’

Being responsible refers to our ability to make the decisions that serve our own interests and the interests of others. We first need to be responsible for ourselves before we can be responsible for others. In learning to be more responsible, it is important that we know our limitations. It is also important to remember that we are not responsible for things that are out of our control, like the way people feel or react to situations.

As a child, one can alleviate his parent’s stress of raising the family in some way. He must help them in chores like cleaning the house, taking care of the siblings, buying supplies etc. Moreover, responsibility also comes in a form of concern about the feelings of the family members. Family is a union of people, who are bonded by the emotional relation with each other. Everyone in the family has a share of responsibility or function in the family. For example, parents are supposed to raise and educate the children when they are young. Children should learn different skills and gain knowledge so that they will be prepared enough to step into the society. After they become adults, it is their turn to bear the responsibilities of taking care of their parents and the family. Ms. Chandni Lalwani Teacher Primary

Personal Responsibility

Responsibility is a duty or obligation to satisfactorily perform a task that one must fulfill, and which has a consequent penalty for failure. When we hear the word ‘responsibility’ what do we think first? Many people think of the word BLAME, as in, “Whose responsibility is this?” I'd like to instead suggest that we think of responsibility as seizing what's in front of us , exerting choice, to and taking control but, the real meaning of responsibility is the ability to respond. The fundamental responsibility that each of us has is that we are completely responsible for how our lives turn out. When we like how things are turning out, it's quite easy to say that we are responsible for our success. But when things aren't so good, we're so quick to point fingers at other people & blame them. Self-reliance is not something we are born with. Wise parents teach their children to be responsible & blame free people. If they learn this ability from an early age, they will not expect others to do everything for them. Personal responsibility is something we must wear all the time. It is simply taking care of our own business, including doing what we say. At last - "How can we be responsible?" The answer is- We must put our focus into being responsible for things that we can control, and avoid the stress of those we cannot. We must take responsibility and be the controllers of our life.

Ms. Rashmi Jainkar Mother of Vidhi Jainkar Class: I A
